Initial Review: 11,000 miles on tires

My Genesis Coupe came with these tires as Original Equipment, the front tires are still ok however I doubt they will reach 20K miles, the rear set however are pretty much worn out at 11K. After reading the other consumer surveys I'm not surprised this tire is not ranked well, it is probably one of the most expensive tires on the market when you take into account that it doesn't last more than 10-15K miles. From a performance point of view the tire is good (not exceptional) however, the low tread-wear definitely does not make purchasing these tires a sound investment.

I also purchased these tires (without checking reviews) about a year ago for my 2010 GTI, the OE Continentals lasted for around 26K miles however these same model Potenza's have 9K on them and have less than 50% life left, clearly another reason not to purchase. My next purchase will probably be the Potenza's S04 Pole Position, yes still Potenza however at a lower prices with better ratings
