Bridgestone Potenza RE-11
Initial Review: 5,300 miles on tires
March 16, 2013

The RE-11's are ultra high performance tires and delivered superbly on track. I drive numerous road tracks (Road America, Mid-Ohio, Gingerman, Blackhawk) and noted immediate improvments in dry traction and responsiveness over all other tires I've had on my base C6 (Nitto NT05, Toyo Proxes, Conti DW, stock Goodyear run flats). Traction was also very good in the wet although I did not have that many wet miles to make as thorough an evaluation. I've driven 5,300 total miles on the RE-11's with 1,350 miles on track. I probably have enough good tread for another 200-300 track miles. I consider this excellent wear for my type of driving with excellent performance. Unfortunately, I will not be able to use the RE-11's on my new Corvette Grand Sport because the sizes I need are not available. I recommend without reservation for track and aggressive road.
