Initial Review, 150 Miles on Tires High 5 corvette owners. I own a 2005 c6 z51 corvette with auto transmission A-4. I changed the gear ratio to 3.42, callowway cold intake, 170 degree theromstat and complete 2007 Z06 exhaust from manifolds to npp mufflers. A dyno tune resulted with the injectors being, 95 percent of with 5 percent remainding for upgrades. At the track with factory Goodyear run flats never provided much traction. Second gear would push the car sideways to a very dangerous steering recovery to almost wecking my vette. I purchased bridgestone RE11 because of the reviews. I can honestly say you will feel it in your gut as the tires certainly grip the road. From dead stop it was easy to spin the tires but with the RE11 it pulls very hard from no tire slippage. These are great tires for performance cars. I will buy them again. A lot more quiet that the run flats too. I reccomend them for all corvettes. However, with 140 threadware they will not last as long as a higher threadwares. I agree all corvettes should have been shoed with RE11 tires.
