Initial Review, 40,000 Miles on Tires This is a Jekyl and Hyde tire. Love the traction and wear. Solid performer with a huge failing. The cupping and road noise! the tires have over 10/32 tread and the howling and vibration is deplorable. Bridgstone should be horse whipped for selling tires that are so noisy after such a short time.. especially at this price point. In fact, the noise got so bad that my mechanic was convinced that wheel bearings had failed, so we changed them. Then still thinking that the noise and vibration was coming from the front end he changed out the hangar bearing on the right steering shaft. Guess what...no change! Just so you don't think I'm a total idiot three independent SAE mechanics arrived at the same conclusion. So now, a few hundred dollars later for unnecessary repairs I still get to be bombarded by grinding and groaning from these tires. How frustrating!
