Bridgestone Ecopia EP422 (T-Speed Rated)
Initial Review: 500 miles on tires
August 30, 2014

I have read a lot of reviews on this tire. The most notorious aspect of these tires is ride comfort and noise level. When I drove the car with these tires for the first time, I was amazed at how smooth and how quiet the ride is. I see a lot of reviews complaining about the wear. Mine only have about 500 miles on them so I can not comment on that. I had the Bridgestone HP550 and those lasted 4 years. But they were the wrong size 195/60R15 - too big. Those tires were very noisy and the car was using more fuel - but the wear was good. I used to complain my car was not comfortable on long trips. Now I realize it was the noise from the HP550´s that was making me tired. These ECOPIA are worth every penny just for the comfort and noise reduction. I would be willing to give up a little on wear for the improved ride comfort and less noise.
