Bridgestone Ecopia EP422 (H- or V-Speed Rated)
Initial Review: 200 miles on tires
September 17, 2012

Well I just got these tires installed. They were on the higher end of my price range, but the rebate helped. Originally I had the Goodyear Intergrity tires on the car which I hated in every way. I've always been a fan of Bridgestone, and read the Tirerack reviews and did my homework, and decided to go with the Ecopia Ep422. This may sound weird, but the moment I pulled out of the parking spot I knew these tires felt different. They feel like they want to keep rolling. I know my vehicle pretty well I have 110,000 miles on it, and I have a good idea when I push the clutch in how far the vehicle will roll, well now it seems to roll further. Coming up to a stop the car seems to be carrying more speed when coasting. Just in the 200 miles I put on the tires. my MPG already went from 35.8 up to 36.8, cant wait to see what the final average will be with these tires. Im also amazed at how quiet they are so far. On black top they are pretty much silent. Only got a touch of rain so far, but traction seemed to be pretty good so far. I was really surprised at how soft the rubber compound is on these tires, but they do grip the road very well. Not sure how long they will last since they are so soft feeling. But so far I'm really liking them. I'll report back after i get some good milage on them, for me that shouldnt take too long.
