Bridgestone Ecopia EP100
Initial Review: 10,000 miles on tires
July 23, 2012

The first thing I noticed with the Ecopia EP100 was how quiet they were. One of the quietest tires I've owned. I rate the ride comfort very high. I haven't noticed any negative handling problems over the original Yokohama Geolanders. Typically the Forester would get about 300 miles per tank with the original tires and similar with the winter Michelin X-Ice2's. I just did a long drive with three fills where I average over 400 miles per tank with the EP100's. This worked out to close to 33 mpg. This is nearly two mpg than my 'best ever'. Bridgestone has advertised that the tires will pay for themselves over their life and this does appear to be true. I would strongly recommend the Ecopia to anyone looking to get substantially improved mileage as well as a quiet comfortable ride, from a Forester or similar.
