Initial Review, 40,000 Miles on Tires Much better than the oems that only lasted about 30k and didn't do well in the snow. The one big complaint with these is rolling resistance is pretty high and you will notice gas mileage dropping 1 or 2 mpg vs the oems. A year after I bought them consumer reports or somebody else actually tested these and they said the same thing that they had a very high rolling resistance. It's always a challenge balancing between better traction and rolling resistance, but I think these go too far. As far as tire life, I'm at 40k now and still have 5mm left with pretty aggressive driving so I should easily get 50 and probably 55k. I think you'd have to drive very easy going to get the 65k warranty mileage. I will be looking for different tires when these wear out to try and get better mileage but if I can't find a good match at a reasonable price, these would be fine again.
