Initial Review, 5,000 Miles on Tires These are exceptional winter tires. They are remarkable in snow and ice conditions. Because of their deep treads and soft rubber compound, they do not grip on dry pavement and handle like summer or all season tires. If you have a high performance vehicle and live in a region that gets heavy snow, these tires are awesome. Just plan to switch back to summer tires to get high performance in summer.
