Initial Review, 7,000 Miles on Tires I've had Blizzaks on several cars now and it still amazes me how much more traction they have in winter than standard all weather tires. Last winter I had to drive from Cleveland OH to Rochester NY on route 90 in intermittent blizzard conditions. I had cars all around me slide off the road with traction problems but I was steady as a rock. In my opinion if it saves one winter "incident" snow tires are worth the added expense and trouble for us "snow belters". Incidently I purchased another set of Blizzaks this year for a new vehicle.
