Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V1
Follow-Up Review: 2,500 miles on tires
In addition to the super quiet ride I had mentioned previously, I can now add superb performance in full-on winter driving conditions to the list. In the past two months, I have driven the Blizzaks through freezing rain and plenty of snow. Our annual 500 mile each way drive to New Brunswick went off without a hitch. We drove through deep snow during the holiday as well as icy conditions. I know the Michelin X-Ice were highly rated for ice, but the Blizzaks never slipped on us. These tires would have to fall off the rims to disappoint me at this point!
Initial Review: 400 miles on tires
I'll write a more thorough review of these tires after my first full winter on them. But, I had to write a quick review and comment on how quiet these tires are! I am replacing a set of Cooper snow tires and I am blown away at the difference. We can have a conversation in the Element again without shouting. My hope is that everyone else who said good things about snow traction are correct--I will let you all know more next Spring.
