BFGoodrich Winter Slalom KSI
Initial Review: 100 miles on tires
December 17, 2013

I only have 100 miles on these KSI's. I realize that this is not that helpful, but since there have hardly been any reviews, I wanted to at least give a quick review. First, Tire Rack ROCKS! This is the 6th set of tires we've ordered. 1 day delivery, recommended installer rocked it, getting them installed in less than 30 minutes for $65 including disposal.

First impressions are that the compound is balanced for above average winter performance, but not as soft as other winter tires we've had. That's fine with me because I had some amazing Vredestein's that were the best winter tires I've ever had, but they wore out in 30,000 miles, and they were double the price of these.

I lifted the car up after install and looked at the tires: at least 75% of the sipes are full-depth, especially on the shoulders. They are stable but of course louder than normal and are a little squirmy. I will write an in-depth review in a couple months with more info.
