Initial Review, 39,000 Miles on Tires I bought my tires in 2008 at 34,000 miles. Not sure if BFG has redesigned this tire, because the the Rugged Trail T/A's I have look a bit more like the All Terrain BFG's. Anyway my truck now has 83,000 miles on it, and I still have 4/32 to 5/32 tread remaining. However, the wet traction is becoming progressively poor to the point that I feel I need new tires. Must say, however, that my fuel mileage has been good with these tires. I'm going to take a chance that, although the tread in the picture looks different, the carcus and the rubber composition are the same, and I'm going to buy another set.
