Initial Review, 60,000 Miles on Tires This survey is based on my driving conditions and I am not comparing this tire to Z rated tire. I used my 1st set BFG KM2 and lasted over 60,000mi. I changed them for safety and gave them to my brother with 7/32 left for his work truck. First, be realistic that is not H+ Rated tire for speed/racing, I drive 75mph avg Hwy and no problem at all, even same gas milage than stock street tires. Never had a flat tire on this set and I go off-road every month. I rotate and balance them regularly for better lifetime but depends on driver/owner and if you do Extreme 4x4 where you really wear them quicker for fun. For me BFG KM2 is perfect on Hwy, Sand, Mud, Snow, Rocks, Wet or Dry, I have pulled out from snow/sand/mud bigger 4x4 (Chevy, Tundra, Land Cruiser, Jeep) and no problem with tire traction. Works great for what I do/need and far better than street tires many are using (defined as off-road tires); same reason I pulled them out because not having the right tires for the place using them. Be realistic that no M/T tire will be great/perfect for speed and traction on ice as many tires, get chains for safety and better 4x4 driving; I have used my chains once and big difference when snow/ice specially at night.
