These tire can handle light off-roading with small light weight SUV (<3,500). I drove in Hollister SVRA during rainy weather, it does very well on beginner trail and OK in intermediate trail. I'd never got stuck in mud neither, however, mud will get caught in the threads so be careful.

Highway handling is super and brings confidence, very good road grip. The tires never slipped before in all my time driving. I have driven through highway curves at 60 mph downhill and hardly ever have to hit the brakes.

Excellent on wet roads. I once drove in heavy rain and ran into a large puddle on the interstate at 55 mph. I didn't losses control, but I think I hydroplane a little and scared the crap out of the drivers behind me. The water blinded my windshield for about 2 seconds, it was one -------- of a splash.
