Initial Review: 35,000 miles on tires
December 30, 2012

I read a LOT of reviews of this tire before buying, and since. There are people who love them, and people who hate them. I'm now in the latter category. These tires were decent on snow the first winter, but now, with 35k miles on them and needing replacement, they are very poor. Wet traction has been terrible since day one.

One review I read suggest that some people have these mounted backwards (they are a directional tire) and that's the reason for some of the bad reviews. That seemed reasonable, so I bought them. Mine ARE mounted correctly, and they have been lousy tires.

I now believe that the disparity in reviews is not a matter of mounting incorrectly, but a matter of poor quality control.

Never again!
