Initial Review, 6,000 Miles on Tires i got the 245 65R's for my 04 grand cherokee because i wanted a beefy stance but was unsure how the snow traction would be. for one, the stance is most definitely beefy and has a cool tread pattern. living in new york, we have had some mild winters as of late so i wasn't super concerned about the snow but we just got 10 inches and i got to try them out for real: at the end of my driveway was a nice 2+ foot of snow packed in from the plows....the jeep rolled right over it without hesitation. i than went to a large parking lot with now snow removal and had a ball...the jeep just plowed through it like a dog excited after the first big snowfall. on the road, they feel confident and secure. overall, i love these tires. the white lettering is cool, tread pattern is cool, and the 245 stance looks rugged and awesome. i've only got 5000 or so miles on them so i really can't say how tread life will be. however, i've noticed my gas mileage slip in city driving but there could be many reasons for that. i will know for sure in 5 years how i feel about these tires but for now, they have gone above my expectations.
