Initial Review, 20,000 Miles on Tires

I bought these tires to replace Goodyear Eagle GT tires that had worn down. The first thing I noticed was much more sidewall squirm, which made steering response a bit sluggish. I'm used to fairly quick turn-in response, but with these, there was a noticeable delay with a bit of understeer. Overall however, the understeer was fairly progressive and predictable, and not prone to suddenly breaking away. As the sidewalls are more compliant, the ride is a bit softer, but I wasn't concerned with a soft ride. Noise was at an acceptable level, which means they weren't so loud that I noticed how noisy they were.

I drive very aggressively and am always finding the limit of the tires, so I'm not surprised that these tires are shot after only 20k. Because I hit so many on/off ramps, the left side tires are worse, but this wasn't something I noticed with the Goodyears. In fact, I hit the ramps so hard that the left front wheel bearing has failed at 85k. Fair to say that I expect a lot from my tires. For someone who drives at a more pedestrian pace, they would probably provide good service. I'm looking for a bit less tread and sidewall squirm and a more direct feel, and less concerned about cracks and bumps in the road.
