Follow-Up Review: 40,000 miles on tires
January 18, 2014
It's been 4 years and 40,000 miles and these tires are still going strong. For a tire that was dirt cheap and had only two reviews when I purchased them in 2009, I'm pleased.

I've got about 4/32 of tread remaining, so they are likely to hit their expected 50,000 miles. Overall, these were good tires that caused me no problems despite the fact that I rarely rotated them. They definitely became noisier over time, but that's to be expected. I'll consider purchasing them as replacements.
Initial Review: 1,000 miles on tires
October 12, 2009

I bought these tires because at the time they were the least expensive option offered by tire rack in this size. I was concerned because the OEM Michelins were load rated at 91 and these were 94. Because of that difference, my local installer promised that they would be much louder than the OEM set. I then read as many internet reviews as I could find on them and didn't find much other than people saying that they don't have a fast looking tread pattern, whatever that may be. No matter - they have been just fine over the first 1,000 miles and nobody's looking at the tread anyway. They corner great and have plenty of grip in both wet and dry conditions. Noise? They're definitely quieter than my original (well worn) Michelins and don't have any annoying hum at highway speeds. The price was right and so far they've been a great value for the low price.
