Initial Review, 1,000 Miles on Tires
October 12, 2009

I bought these tires because at the time they were the least expensive option offered by tire rack in this size. I was concerned because the OEM Michelins were load rated at 91 and these were 94. Because of that difference, my local installer promised that they would be much louder than the OEM set. I then read as many internet reviews as I could find on them and didn't find much other than people saying that they don't have a "fast" looking tread pattern, whatever that may be. No matter - they have been just fine over the first 1,000 miles and nobody's looking at the tread anyway. They corner great and have plenty of grip in both wet and dry conditions. Noise? They're definitely quieter than my original (well worn) Michelins and don't have any annoying hum at highway speeds. The price was right and so far they've been a great value for the low price.
