Initial Review, 24,000 Miles on Tires My ratings for these tires come with a caveat. I have not tested them driving at normal speed in the rain as I must confess that I do not trust them or my car in the rain (I don't normally drive it in the rain). As for ride comfort, I prefer a very firm ride (harsh if you will), and these tires are a little too soft-riding for me. Steering inputs when dry is great and seems to get progressively more responsive when steering wheel turns increase. Very high breakaway speed with no squealing. Noise? For most people they would be somewhat noisy; for me, noise on a Miata is part of the experience.
