Initial Review, 3,000 Miles on Tires

This tire is definately a tire that has handling performance in mind. The tire has stiff sidewall which make turn in response very responsive and crisp. It also helps with keeping the entire contact patch of the tire maximized to the road. Ultimate grip is very good for a tire in the ultra high performance Summer category. While aggressively attacking a sharp off ramp you will get a light tire squeal while the tire hangs on well. For more sweeping type off ramps the tire inspires lots of confidence.

Just as impressive is the wet performance. During a hard rain it is easy to maintain posted speed limits with no issues. In light to medium rain the car undsteers much less than with the tire it replaces again inspiring confidence in the tire.

The tire does ride on the slightly stiff side due to the stiffer sidewall which is to be expected. The tire also has an audible noise from about 30mph to 45 mph. Interestling it goes away at highway speeds. You can tell the tire has a focus on performance over ride and noise comfort. For me and my driving style this was a good trade off.
