BFGoodrich Advantage T/A
Follow-Up Review: 30,000 miles on tires
Update: After 30,000 miles on these BFG's, They are still great. They are about half worn at this point. They have been driven all over Europe on highway, secondary and country roads. For the price they are outstanding tires and recommended. HWY cruise at 85 to 90 MPH is quiet and stable.
Initial Review: 6,000 miles on tires
Removed the Michlins from the X3 and replaced with the BFG Advantage T/A. What a difference. The vehicle is smoother over the roads of Sicily. The steering response is as good or a little better, The wet road traction is greatly improved. We just returned from a road trip to Romania. The road noise is average, not too loud or anoying. The wet traction was great in Hungary. The X3 stops on a dime wet or dry. The cost of these tires is a great buy for an all season performance tire. Would definitely recommend for a heavier vehicle. X3 weighs in at 5K. my wife feels safe. Thanks to Tire Rack for the FPO support for the Military!!!
