These are my 11th set of tires on this 8 year old car. My previous set was Yokahama Advan Neova AD07s. The Michelin Pilot SS tires have a 300 treadwear rating vs. the Yok's 180. That with the dry test track results were my primary reason, along with low cost, to buy these tires. Grip is good. I have yet to find the cornering limits. I would rate at least...  Read More

These were original equipment on my truck. Tires have small chunks of tread pealing off all over tire and look like a cheese grater has been run across the entire tread. Tire shop says tires are defective and contacted Michelin. Tires purchased after March 1, 2011 have 60,000 mile warranty, however, since my tires were original equipment there is no...  Read More

I bought these tires to replace the H-rated all-season Contis that came on the vehicle. The Michelins are a great improvement! Dry traction and stability is beyond what I would expect of an All-season tire. Wet traction is the best I have ever had. Snow traction is a little lacking from other touring tires I have had in the past, but nothing that would keep...  Read More

We had quite a nasty freezing rain/wet snow making roads quite slick. The tires felt very stable and did not slip, as long as I controlled my gas foot. I was able to travel at 45 - 50 miles on the highway (4 lane with 30' median) with about 1 - 2 of slippery slush/ice on the roadway. And I was easily able to reduce speed and keep my car under control, when...  Read More

By far THE best tire I have ever ran on this car. I have had the Eagle Gt and the Gt Asymmetric, as well as the BFG G-Force super sport. And this tire out performs them by far! i do autocross on these as well as aggressive mountain runs on the weekends and they grip like nothing i have ever felt before. There is zero sidewall sway and almost no tread squirm....  Read More

A good option for the SC430 if you want to stay with run flats. I am going to try a non run flat with a inflator kit next time. They still ride harshly over major bumps.   Read More

When I was researching this set of tires (or any set of all-terrain tires for that matter), I was really worried about the amount of road noise that the tires would make. However, I still needed a set of tires that would serve me well in the snow, but could still be driven at normal temperatures on the freeway. I was very pleasantly surprised to find the...  Read More

I have only had these tires for 2500 miles and love them except for one thing. The road noise is excessive. Do I have bad tires? Am I doing something wrong? Are these tires not right for my vehicle?   Read More

As soon as the tires were installed, I went on a 1k road trip. So far the tires have been great. Noise is almost non existent inside the car. Cornering and steering response is excellent. Traction has been great overall. We haven't had enough rain in AZ to gauge wet weather traction yet.   Read More

My priority for this vehicle is a quiet and smooth tire that delivers good wear and can handle some snow. I'm pleased with this tire on all factors and really amazed at how well it went in 3 ft of fresh snow last January in South Bend. It went slow but did not get stuck.   Read More

Excellent tire. I bought this for my Lincoln Zephyr which is a kind of sports sedan. The original tires that came on the vehicle (Michelins) are outstanding on dry road but terrible, I mean terrible, with a smidgen of snow on the ground. I went off the road with a dusting of snow and know I needed snows. I had heard great things about Tire rack so I ordered...  Read More

These tires are definitely worth every penny! I have previously owned a set of BFG All Terrains and they don't even compare with how well these tires preform in every weather condition. They performed much better than I had anticipated off road as well. On extremely steep, wet, rocky surfaces these tires stuck to the ground like a true off road tire. They're...  Read More

These tires are great. The only time they squeal is when I pop the clutch. They hold the road extremely well. I have not felt the car slide or shimmy when the road is wet. Because I have a set of snow tires, these tires are used only during good weather. They may be a bit noisy or hum a little louder than you are accustomed but for the grip, the trade-off is...  Read More

OEM, excellent to start with for about 25000 miles, became increasingly noisey after that. Sounded like the rear bearings were shot. The Ford dealer said the right rear tire was cupping. The tire was resurfaced and the noise lessened. However, after another three or four thousand miles the noise began increasing and now sounds like the bearings are shot and...  Read More
