Replaced the factory conti pro contacts with this set and was initially impressed with the low noise level and increase in comfort from the soft side wall it took away some of the harsness from the s-line suspension but the soft side wall also takes away from the steering responsiveness and makes the car feel more unstable at high speed and hurts straight...  Read More

I was worried about my first michigan winter in my new mustang. I didn't have a single issue. Even drove through a white out going to chicago. I had nothing in the trunk either. I swear by these tires. I do not however like the limited life of the tire. Store said 15k mikes. Rides stiffer than a normal tire, performance also not as good but no fishtailing or...  Read More

These tires have been great so far. They work well in all weather conditions, and I'm very surprised with how well they are in deep snow and on ice. They're also very good in heavy rain and I haven't been able to make them hydroplane yet. They have a very deep tread, and are hardly showing any wear. I'm very pleased with these tires.   Read More

My wife drives this car to work everyday and the tires are just now showing wear on the outside edges - this may be partially due to front end parts wearing (replaced in 2010) and not rotating them on a regular basis. If we lived in a warmer climate we could make them last another 10-15,000 miles but we are replacing them now for winter. Overall they have...  Read More

I purchased the previous version of this tire (SP Winter 2D) in October 2004 and used them for my winter tires on my 2002 Audi TT w/quattro for six years averaging 7500 miles a winter. I switched between my summer and winter wheels usually in October and May weather depending.I live in Minnesota and travel for my work all over Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and...  Read More

I purchased the Extreme Contact DW tires on my mechanic¬ís recommendation as replacement for the Eagle F1 GS- D3 rubber which was no longer available in one of the sizes my car requires. I am very pleased with the Contis.Since this car is not my daily driver, most of the time I drive it I am doing so with the enthusiasm for which it was engineered. While I...  Read More

I bought these tires and promptly took a road trip in the middle of winter from Olympia, Washington to Tahoe, California the hard way (through Eastern Oregon and Northern Nevada). I crossed Willamette Pass during a snowstorm in the middle of the night and these tires exhibited confident traction when climbing and amazing braking power on the icy descent....  Read More

I am a a Michelin PS2, PS3 and PSS user for all my sports sedans and supercars. But I decided to break from my trusted brand and try the ExtremeDW. And wow!!! The ExtremeDW offers a very nice, quiet and comfy ride even when doing spirited cornering. Turn-ins are precise and effortless. Tyres feel light and actually helped fuel efficiency. When driven harder,...  Read More

Amazing tires. Very quiet and soft. Last February during abnormal snowfall in Chicago I was able to drive where others stuck in deep snow. Very quiet on concrete highway even at 90 mph, noiseless on asphalt. Just purchased another set for my 2004 TL.   Read More

With 30k miles on these tires in just under 2 years, I can now provide some honest feedback. First and foremost, the dry handling is awesome and has never been in question. Other STI owners who have driven my car also praise the dry performance as well. I can make the same claim on the wet performance. These tires inspire confidence in both the dry and wet!...  Read More

It's almost unbelievable the difference I have noticed going from a Nokian WRG2 all-weather tire to these dedicated Conti snow tires. I have had the opportunity now to drive in three snow falls and the temps outside are now -22c and the tires stick like glue to the roads and ice. Couldn't be more confident for the long winter commutes on high speed highways...  Read More

These tires are excellent, they preform at least as well, if not better, than the stock all-seasons in every regard (including dry and wet handling/traction), and are substantially better on snow, slush, and ice. They are also much less expensive. I've only put about 10K miles on these tires (in a little over a year) but the tread wear seems comparable to...  Read More

We have made 4 round trips from FL to NJ through all kinds of weather and the Enclave packed heavy. These tires hold the road and give you confidence. They are quiet and smooth and thus far the tread has held up great with no signs of wear. I would highly recommend these tires and would purchase them again when the time comes.   Read More

The RE-11s are the very best tire I've ever had and I've gotten 4-5,000 more miles out of this set. I've tried all premium brands of tires on my M3 coupe. I autox it 4-6 times per year along with driving 15000 a year. Very little wheel spin even in the wet when accelerating hard. Great, predictable breakaway and awesome dry handling. The wear is excellent...  Read More

This is an excellent performance winter tire. I use it for general winter driving and critically getting me up the mountain to ski 15 times a year, which means occasional heavy snow/slush/ice driving. It handles the above very well. Plenty of traction in the dry (for a winter/snow tire), excellent wet road/hydroplaning resistance, and more than enough...  Read More

Put these DWS's on my wife's car this past spring when we took off the snow tires. Two days later a snowstorm dumped 8 inches of slushy snow on us. She made it 200 miles to get home that day without any issues, and said that the tires did wonderfully. (Keep in mind that she was used to having her snow tires on the car still, so that's pretty impressive.) 7...  Read More
