I've had these tires for about a month. I live in the Pacific Northwest and in the last month, we have had below freezing weather (icy roads), heavy rain, 8 of snow (rare for us), and slush. These Defenders did great in all these conditions - even on hills in the snow. AWD helps but I doubt the stock OEM Goodyear Forteras would have performed the same. I had...  Read More

Tires stick like you know what on dry warm tarmac. Any water on road forget about it. Do yourself and your car a favor and park it. Otherwise go out on a nice sunny day and have a blast for about 7 thousand miles. Then get the wallet out because that's all folks. But those are 7000 fun if not short miles. There is no stickier tire. PERIOD!   Read More

I recently bought my 2010 VW Jetta w. 89k miles & a cheap set of no-name Chinese tires. Over the years I've run Michelin & many other quality brands of tires on luxury, performance & sports cars. I learned years ago the difference a great set of tires can make to the enjoyment of a car. After checking out the Premier A/S on Tire Rack's site, I went w. the...  Read More

I replaced my Continental OEM runflats with these Michelin PS AS/3 + non runflats and so far I am very happy with them. I only have about 450 miles on them so far and they are a great improvement in ride, quietness and handling. Have yet to get them up to high speed although I plan to soon.   Read More

I have been driving these big taxicab -like cars for 30 years, always with Michelin tires-usually Symmetry. They no longer offer those, so I tried the Premier All-Season. Well, they are not kidding when they say all-season. I just drove through the middle of the latest New England blizzard and these tire performed AMAZINGLY. They had excellent traction in...  Read More

With this being a higher mileage summer vehicle I had always purchased the cheapest tires I could get. After the last set wore out I decided to try a good tire and went with the Premier A/S. While I was concerned initially about the lower tread of 8.5/32 I only put 5000 or so miles/year on the car so they will last a while. There was a night and day...  Read More

I traded my Conti Extreme Contact AWS tires at 30,000 miles for these. The biggest difference is that the Contis were terrible in any snow or ice, while these BFGs are excellent. Huge difference. And so far, all other categories are the same or better. The sidewalls are stronger than the Contis, but even with 36 psi in them, the ride is very close. (I had...  Read More

This tire replaced the OEM Michelin's on my company car. They are excellent in light to heavy rain and light snow. The only thing about them is they are slightly noisy compared to the Michelin's. As far as tread wear goes its a little too early to tell but I'm having positive vibes it will be good.   Read More

Had 3 sets of these tires on 3 different vehicles. Won't buy anything else. Don't go mudding or rock crawling but tow a boat/motor/trailer package that goes about 2,900 lbs. on some sand and gravel roads and launch and recover at some slick ramps. Have also gone on 6,000+ mile road trips with them. Why these particular tires? Control. No hydroplaning when...  Read More

After reading reviews, I decided to take the plunge and make my purchase through Tire Rack. Let me start off by saying these are performance tires so expect a slight trade off in ride comfort/noise over a touring tire. With that said, these tires grip like crazy! I usually only buy two tires at a time so I am still running the stock Michelin Primacy tires in the rear. The car is so much more playful than before and reacts so quickly to steering...  Read More

I'm a writer by trade but interestingly I can't stand writing product reviews. However, I had to write about these amazing tires because I spent about 6 months researching tires before I made the purchase and the BFG KO2s exceeded expectation. I live in Wisconsin and the winters here are not friendly. These tires combined with the AWD on my Durango make for...  Read More

This tire is very well mannered and holds extreme levels of dry and wet grip. The steering input is slightly less/slower than some others but I find it perfect for inconsistent street conditions (perfect blend of feel and comfort). This seems to be a tire that offers much and sacrifices little...the only thing I could ask for at this point is for the tires...  Read More

This set of tires were put on in mid September and ran into late November, until temps dipped closer to freezing. I distinctively recall how well they performed in wet / damp / cool weather during the fall. I was very impressed with the wet handling, and braking from this tire. I have not found them to be a noisy tire as well. Looking forward to some...  Read More

I'm blown away by the wet traction of the tire. I pushed them hard in the wet and never felt any slippage. 49000 on these tires and will go for at least another 5000. If I had rotated as often as I should these could easily have gone 60k plus. Not great in mud. Traction wet and dry is going away now that they are 80% gone. I'm going to buy another set but in 20 instead of 17's. You will be tired of looking at these tires before you wear them out.   Read More
