Tire Rack Consumer Review of the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2

Great all around performer. Smooth, quiet ride, nice stiff sidewalls makes my truck ride all around much better. Stock Dunlops were a joke in comparison. Great in winter conditions. Snow flake rating and new compound deffinately is no lye. Alberta winter conditions are no problem for this tire so far.Brand new tire so I can't comment on wear yet. Overall...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus

These replaced the OEM Geolander's and was my first experience with this tire. There simply is no comparison. Road noise diminished greatly and steering became very responsive, turning the FXT into a vehicle that is fun to drive! We also have a set of Xi3s but have only ran them for one snow in the last 2 years, we just don't need them as much. :-(Water and...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Michelin Premier A/S

Just got these to replace my Bridgestone Potenzas. WHat a difference. The ride is quiet, smooth, almost plush in comparison. The traction is great. On my previous set, spinning the wheels was easy. Ths is no longer the case. The improved compliant ride does come at a price. The car does not seem to track as well. I attribute that to a softer sidewall. When...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric All-Season

These are very good tires. They are outstanding in the dry and very good in the wet. Very stable and very good steering response. I track my car with Dunlop Direzza ZII ultra high performance tires I put on for that purpose only, and I can say the Eagle F1's 80-90% of that tire in terms of grip. Which is saying a lot because the Direzzas are almost racing...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Dunlop Winter Maxx

I spent way too long looking at winter tire options, and tireracks' website was by far the most useful.Regarding the Winter Maxx, I liked the reports of good tread wear and general all-round high marks for this tire, combined with the price. (There was a rebate going on.) I purchased the tires with new black steel wheels and had them mounted/balanced by...  Read More

Driven during the following Conditions so far: Warm & Dry, Light/Hard Rain, Light 2-3 Snow & Ice (Thanks to Maryland Weather). This is my 18th vehicle that I have owned but only my 4th Car/Sedan, most of the others were lifted off-road 4x4's with 33+ Mud...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Hankook Ventus S1 noble2

In the first 3 months I've driven in dry, wet and winter conditions and the tire has performed well. Comfortable and quiet ride. I replaced bridgestone potenza grid 019 and these are very quiet in comparison. Good tire at a great price, especially when purchase included a $60 rebate. I hope the tread wear proves strong over the next 3-4 years.   Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus

I searched for a tire that had better Ride, Noise, & Tread-wear, as rated by the customers. I purchased this set because I needed 20 tires to go with the Helo Chrome wheels. I preferred the OEM Tesla 19 wheel Vs the OEM 21 higher performance/lower profile tire because of the Wear factor and Road Noise. I also do not believe there is any advantage to low...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Firestone Destination LE 2

I replaced a set of Firestone Destination LE (not II) that had lasted about 35,000 mi. In comparison, these tires were orders of magnitude quieter. They are great on dry roads, I have had to make a few emergency stops and have felt quite confident in their performance. Quick starts on wet roadways result in absolutely no wheel slippage (partially attributed...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Dunlop Winter Maxx

3,500 miles of mixed dry and light snow (<4) and i have to say that i do recommend this tire versus no snow tire at all. They PALE in comparison to my old Blizzak ws-60 (sadly not offered anymore) because the Wintermaxxx's have a more standard tire design for dry comfort and noise, instead of thick chunky tread blocks that are unparalleled on snow and ice. With that more traditional design, the blocks are much closer together, giving slightly less traction on snow and ice than the Blizzaks. As this is a sport coupe, I took my time on heavy snow and anything more than 5 mph would cause the car to slide sideways. The tires did a good job at gripping upon braking however, and I know that my summer tires would simply spin. While not the very best winter tire, Dunlop has made a good overall tire for the 90% of winter in NJ that is dry and salt-covered. Treadwear has been very good with rubber stips still apparent after 3,500 of generally easy miles. Handling is appropriate for a winter tire, which is to say much softer than a standard tire, but that's to be expected. For the price, I'd recommend these to anyone looking to have a safe commute in winter months. Adding some weight to the trunk (RWD) and applying smooth acceleration will give you best feedback with these tires. I know many companies are creating winter tires that mimic summer tires for noise and comfort, but bring back the blocky tread design Dunlop! Overall, well executed tires at a reasonable price. Much cheaper than crashing and dealing with insurance premiums for years!   Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2

These are great tires, great traction, great cornering and responsiveness whether on the road or the track. They make the rather stiff ride of a BMW M Roadster more comfortable, are very quiet on the highway and happily cruise along at 100+ mph with excellent road feel. I occasionally take my car to the big track at Willow Springs or the Mazda Raceway (aka...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2

Michelin PS2 are much better than Bridgestone Potenza S02 and S02A. In comparison to Bridgestone's, the PS2 noise level is much, much lower which allows me to hear more things now with motor and driveline that I never heard before. It also canceled some of the droning I heard which now I understand was a combination of exhaust AND tire noise. I almost bought...  Read More

Tires used 6 seasons so far and will probably use again next year. Mileage listed is approximate. Studded. Traction is incredible. This year was a great year to have them and after 5 previous seasons I was not afraid to drive anywhere under any conditions. Highly recommend studs for packed snow and ice. There is no comparison. These tires should be mandatory...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Hankook Dynapro HT RH12

I am a long-time fan of Hankook tires, but this is my first experience with this particular (SUV/Truck) model. I had these installed on my Toyota RAV-4 after much comparison to other premium brands. Absolutely no regrets. I've found them to be excellent performers and an outstanding value! They provide a very smooth and quiet ride, with great hydroplane...  Read More
