Tire Rack Consumer Review of the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO

Yes, I had over 70,000 mixed paved /unpaved travels. Not one flat. Noisier than OE Goodyear Wranglers & Dunlops, but not objectionable. These tires are the only brand I've had on several SUV's over the years that I didn't have a flat with. The only reason I replaced them (with another set of BFG AT's) was the weather checking. Still had another 10k in them.Wh...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Hankook Dynapro HT RH12

I am a long-time fan of Hankook tires, but this is my first experience with this particular (SUV/Truck) model. I had these installed on my Toyota RAV-4 after much comparison to other premium brands. Absolutely no regrets. I've found them to be excellent performers and an outstanding value! They provide a very smooth and quiet ride, with great hydroplane...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the BFGoodrich Long Trail T/A Tour

About to order another set to replace current set. Old set now has 60k miles. No issues with them other than we've worn them out. We do mostly highway driving in all kinds of conditions in an SUV loaded with people, biking and camping equipment. Also have done light off-roading as necessary to get to bike venue/camping spot. These have been great tires.   Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Pirelli Scorpion ATR

After nearly 80k miles I bought another set of the Pirelli Scorption ATR. Here's why. I drove the North American Continent on these tires from Mexico to Alaska and in all conditions the superiors are many to count. On dry they are stable, and the soft rubber keeps you hooked to the road. Braking is fast. On wet they have a cornering ability which is superior...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Michelin Latitude X-Ice Xi2

I live in Central NY and we get snow. I just finished our 5th winter seasons with these tires on our Accord and they have been great. I felt compelled to right a review as my wife's car with 17k miles on the all season tires struggled to get up our snowy inclined driveway this winter. The Accord walked right up it with the 5 year old snows. In their 5th year...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Yokohama Geolandar G055

These tires replaced OE Michelins. Tire rep recommended the new Yokohama G055's. Great tire. To date no complaints, slightly more noise then the Michelins but nothing to make one dislike them. Have only seen slight skiff of snow since I have gotten them (approx 2 months). I would recommend these tires for your SUV. Will repost when have more mileage on them....  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Michelin Premier A/S

Love! Love! Love! these new Michelin Premier AS tires. I replaced Dunlop Sport tires that came on the car when I purchased the vehicle new. These tires are MUCH quieter and MUCH smoother riding than the Dunlops. I blew a tire at 28k miles and had to replace all 4 because my SUV is AWD. I purchased Michelin for my Corvette and love them on that car so thought...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the General AltiMAX RT43 (T-Speed Rated)

Far exceeded expectations, especially in snow. After buying a CPO Q5 3.2 late in the winter and experiencing the oem Dunlops, I needed to decide on some a/s tires, and many of the usual go-to tires were sold out.I knew the Conti-General product line is excellent, based on my experience with a few models, so I took a chance on these RT tires. I hoped that 700...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Dunlop SP Sport 5000 M

I've driven the car in every weather condition. I haven't taken it off pavement & won't unless I have to. I've noticed that others complain about noise, but so far it's been a quiet tire. My only complaint, and it's a big one, is that the tire has zero traction in the snow. After our first snow this winter, we barely made it up the slight incline of our...  Read More
