More Snow Tires and Wheels Available For Your BMW X6

EquipSport Edition WX5ped with large brakes, the BMW X6 had very few 19" snow tire and wheel options available last winter. However, as snow will be falling before we know it, new options are now available for this application.

The Sport Edition WX5 offers a clean, classic 5-spoke design that will clear larger brakes and will also accept your BMW's original center cap. The Original Equipment X6 tires are run-flats that come with no spare, therefore many drivers may be better off with a run-flat winter tire. For great overall snow performance and goodPirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow RFT handling on dry and wet winter roads, the Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow RFT is a good choice.

Creating a Winter / Snow Tire & Wheel package with this combination would be $2100 plus shipping. However, if you decide you want to move away from run-flat tires, the package is $1760 plus shipping with the non-fun-flat Scorpion Ice & Snow.

And if you decide to purchase the Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow RFT, be sure to read "Tips on Mounting Run-Flat Tires" to ensure the set is properly installed.

Hi Mir,

We need a little more information to make an accurate recommendation. BMW equipped the X6 with both 19" (255/50-19 tire size) and 20" wheel (275/40-20 front & 315/35-20 rear). What size do you have?

Also what part of the country are you in? We need to know how important dry grip, wet grip, snow grip etc are to you.

Please advise.

Hi
Could you outfit snow tires and rims for 2011 BMWx6, (275/40-20 front and 315/35-20 rear).
I live in Minneapolis MN. All types of snow, all depths, almost all year- LOL!

Tonja, just to clarify it sounds like you have a 2011 BMW X6 XDrive 5.0 Sport Package with Runflat Original Equipment tires and no spare tire.

If so we would normally go with 255/50-19 Pirelli Scorpion Winter Runflats on Sport Edition WX5 wheels at approximately $2381 delivered.

BMW changed the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensors on October 2010 so please check the door placard for the production month so you can input the correct information into our website.
