I am so happy with my Pirelli Scorpion Verde's that I can't wait to buy another pair. I had Michelin Energy's on my X5 and yes they are a good all around touring tire, however the price is just outragious. Plus, Pirelli's Scorpion Verde's to me are a far more superior tire from the ride, the handling and the way the tire is built. For example, as soon as they arrived at my home, which was delivered by UPS within a day, I could see the quality of the tire and design that stood out from the Michelin tire. Nevertheless, I recently went on a business trip to Delaware and Philly and let me tell you the noise level was low and the comfort and ride was excellent. I've never seen such deep tread grooves on a tire. This tire can handle Rain, Snow and anything in my opinion. I saved over $150 dollars a tire, Verde $201 and Michelin $350. In closing, I have always wanted to have Pirelli's on my car and now I do and I absolutely love them and recommend them to all. You don't have to spend the big bucks on Michelin, really. Let me reiterate that the Pirelli Scorpion Verde is an ideal tire for a SUV that travels via city and highway and ultimatley gives you that confidence of driving in style and luxury. I will be placing my next order for the other pair by the end of the week. Travel Safe!

Bought these tires to replace the ONM Continentals, which were horrible. At the time I lived in PA, so I wanted tires that could handle moderate snow, which they performed well. Initially the tires were very good in wet conditions, but as the tread wore down some slippage developed from a standing start, but they never hydoplaned. These tires are of block design and I learned the hard way that rotation is essential at every oil change or 5K miles. I let the tires go due to a minor misalignment and they became very noisy. I had them shaved to even out the tread and with frequent rotation I got another 20K out of the tires. Just replaced the tires with 4/32 ends left, so the tread wear is excellent, even after shaving off some tread. These are good rugged tires and I would recommend them for heavy duty use. I went with a different brand this time as snow is no longer an issue for me. One more item, in five years the price of these tires has almost doubled,

A good tire for the price, a little noisier than expected, but if I wanted a quiet tire I would have gone with michelins. Previously had pirelli scorpion atr's, they were the best tires I ever had on my truck, did everything far beyond my expectations, but the price jumped up $300 for the set so I started looking at other options. Decided to try these out, I liked the all terrain tread for the snow and driving on the beach. So far holding up well, probably get 35 to 40,000 out of them, not bad for the way I drive. A lot of tread squirm for the first 2-3,000 miles but settled in after that, had to slow down a lot for the on/off ramp almost felt like I was going to lose it, but never lost traction though. But, after 2-3000 miles the uneasiness went away and the back end didn't fell like it was going to pass me anymore. They definitely don't handle like the pirelli's they replaced, it helps to remind me I'm driving a full size truck and not a sports cars. I'm sure I added about 10,000 miles to the life of the tires because of it. Not necessarily a bad thing.

I have an AWD Acura RDX and both my wife and I drive it. I drive more aggressively then her and both of us are very pleased with these Pirellis. I will say I bought these mostly because of positive reviews by Tirerack and consumers. I have not had positive experiences with Pirellis in past but these after 4000 miles are great. In both dry and wet the tires inspire confidence. We had the Bridgestone Duelers on prior and these are MUCH quieter and better all around.

These tires are way better than OEM factory set in almost every way possible. When new, within the first 1000 miles of purchase, I took a long road trip from AZ to WA and back. These tires performed very well on this 3000 mile road trip, on forest service roads, city roads, highways, interstates and at one point a rock quarry road. Since then, I’ve put on almost 40K miles, and these tires are still very good. Road noise is great, wear has been excellent, and other than some deep mud, I’ve always felt in control of my truck in all the weather conditions these tires have seen.
I got these tires on discount at the time of purchase; I’m waiting and hoping they go back on sale or that I can find them cheaper than they currently are. I consider these tires at the edge of A/T, being a little more street than off-road. But for my driving, they’re off-road and all weather enough to do the job when needed. If I can get them a little cheaper, I’ll skin my truck in these as long as I own it.

Bought these to replace my worn out Pirelli Scorpions. Thinking spring had arrived I pulled off my Blizzak WS-70's and put these on. As luck would have it, 3 days later we got hammered with almost 2 feet of snow. Very quickly found out how good my Blizzak's really are. Calling these "All Season" tires is being optimistic. Traction in loose snow (after roads were plowed) is marginal at best. Cornering in loose snow caused the front end to plow and the traction control to activate immediately. Deep snow (unplowed roads) resulted in lots of wheel spin and darting. To be fair, I didn't buy these for winter driving and I did get a chance to evaluate them on dry roads prior to our spring snow. Road noise is low to moderate. Not as quiet as my Pirelli's but not annoyingly so. Haven't seen wet roads yet so I can't comment on how these do on them. Dry traction feels good but there is a small amount of sidewall squirm that you can feel in cornering. We have a lot of rutted roads thanks to the use of studded winter tires and these tires wander around when you get in a rut. It's not uncontrollable but it does make me feel a little loose compared to the OEM tires. I only have 500 miles on the tires so maybe they will get better as they break in and the roads warm up. I'll write a followup review in another 1000 miles to see if this is the case.

I think I am the only review here that has these "SUV" tires on a luxury passenger car. I bought these solely on price and reviews on Tire Rack, and I'm very pleasantly surprised at the outstanding quality and value. I came off a set of Hankook V-12's that were an excellent summer tire in all ways except tread life. Since I plan to sell this car in a year or so, I got the "cheapest" tire available. In terms of ride and quietness (2 traits most important to my wife), these even exceeded the Hankooks, which were in themselves vastly superior the the OEM Pirelli P-zeros. In deep snow in Colorado during a ski trip last month, they were outstanding; I did better than a guy in a Grand Cherokee (2wd) we were following during a heavy snow!
Anyone seeking a really good tire at an amazing price, don't hesitate getting these for ANY vehicle.

If you are driving a rear wheel drive car like my camaro and it snows where you live get a set for the winter driving. Took my pirelli stock tires off due to slipping and sliding on the smallest amount of snow and put the scorpions on and WOW!!!! huge difference no slipping or sliding at all. Went thru 6" of snow with no problem the Ice is very good as well due to the siping on the tread. Would have liked to be able to stud them but cant. One bad thing they are louder than the all season tires particularly on rough roads.Cornering is a little less stable than the all seasons as well. If it snows get a set ASAP!

I purchased this tire after speaking with a customer service representative when I asked for a viable option to the factory Michelin Pilot tires. I have been nothing short of delighted with these tires. They have a slightly harder tread compound than the Pilots did they maintain the cornering stability of the Michelins. Overall, I feel that they driver better than the Michelin Pilots and offer a better value due to better treadware and come in at a lower price point. I would enthusiastically recommend that you consider these tires as an excellent performing, outstanding value replacement tire for heavier SUV's that are used on-road.

I'm just about to purchase my 4th set of these tires for my Cherokee. Admittedly, I am not an off-roader and I don't ask much of my tires, other than to get me up and down the highway and the occasional trip to the mountains/snow. They definitely slip on wet asphalt and do require some 4wd help in the snow. Overall, this is a very consistent and reliable tire. It wears very well with scheduled rotations, it is fairly quiet, handles well, and maintains a good MPG. I drove Pirellis on a VW GTI in the past and was initially skeptical of putting them on a Jeep, but they have been great!

These tires are OEM from Ford when I purchased my truck. I read lots of reviews about them and was quite worried about the upcoming Minnesota winter do to what I felt was a high number of bad reviews. However after I have had them for over three months in the deep snow, cold, slush, freezing rain I am VERY happy. Are they as good as a dedicated snow tire? Of course not. Are they as good as a dedicated off-road tire? Nope. But are they a great all around tire supplying above average traction for 90% of driving conditions? Yep. People who complain about the traction of these tires are either really really bad drivers or are comparing them to a single use tire. I will have to wait and see how they wear long term. Last thing, for the people who are disappointed Ford puts these highway oriented tires on a truck, don't blame Ford, blame the EPA for forcing companies to make products the public doesn't want. Its all about the MPG's.

Excellent tire! 35k so far and I'll probably get another 10k, commendable for a 40k rated tire. They have worn evenly with regular rotation. I pull trailers and a boat regularly, drive back trails for camping and atv riding. These tires have never let me down. They have got me thru several good size mud holes, some w/o having to use 4wd. Highway performance and noise level is surprising given it's an offroad tire. I definitely will put these on my truck again. Great return on the price!!

I spent about a year researching tires to replace on my 2008 Lexus RX 350. I replaced my Michelin Green X Latitudes. I was pleased with the life of the Michelin's treadware but found over time the ride became more stiff and the tires cornering was not that good.

Based on the research and commnets found on Tirerack, I chose the Pirelli's Scorpion Verde All Season. After 3 months and 4,500 miles, I can say that these are the best tires I have ever owned. They make my Lexus SUV more nimble with quicker responses to handling and cornering; they provide a smoother, quiet ride as compared to the Michelins; have not experienced any hydroplaning; and they have quick stops.

I know that tire dynamics can change over time and I will have to wait and see if these tires exceed my expectations over the long haul but as of now I am a very satisfied with my purchase.

The P Zero is over rated and not a good tire at even half the money.

Replaced original Conti contact Pro that where on from factory with these Extremes, a much better feel for less money. They feel tighter control, more responsive. But ya know as tires wear out and then you put new tires on, things always are better. But these do certainly have a tighter grip and steering response from the seemingly slightly maybe softer OEM Conti contacts. They certainly do feel great in pools of water at highway speed, no hydro planing that I can sense. Great tires, priced right. Even got the same ones different size for the Tiguan SEL 4 motion , which replaces OEM Pirreli Scorpions..Extremes from Conti are almost half the price! And people don't seem thrilled with the Pirelli Scorpions. I have always had good luck with Conti stuff, these Extreme Contact feel good. The GTI responds extremely well. with them.

I'm a Michelin guy, but just couldn't bring myself to pay $1600+ for a pavement pounding SUV. Based on the raving reviews the Pirelli Verde received, I decided to give them a try. After all, they were over $500 cheaper than the Michelins. I've only put 10k on them so far, but man- what an impressive tire. Ride quality, road feel, and noise were all noticeably improved. They're even handsome tires to look at! Good mileage so far...I'm sold.
