We are once again offering steel wheels this winter season for a wide variety of vehicles in select 14",15" and 16" sizes and bolt patterns. While steel wheels will not work on all vehicles due to problems with brake clearance, the steel wheels listed for your vehicle on our Winter / Snow Tire & Wheel Package selection screen are a guaranteed fitment.
More cost-effective than aluminum alloy wheels, steel wheels allow you to put together a winter tire and wheel combination at a great price. Steel wheels may not be as aesthetically pleasing as aluminum wheels, however we do offer wheel covers for different appearance options. When considering steel wheels for your Winter / Snow Tire & Wheel Package, remember the following features when compared to an alloy wheel:
- Meet the basic needs of drivers who want the convenience of a winter tire package without the additional cost of an alloy wheel
- Typically available in black or silver finish depending on the application
- Basic styling can often be updated with wheel covers
- Cost less than alloy wheels due to ease of manufacturing and lower material cost
Steel wheels can also be used with Tire Pressure Monitor Sensors.
