If you drive a 2011-2012 Ford Shelby GT500 with the optional SVT Performance Package or are fortunate enough to own the 2013 model, you'll be pleased to know that a new tire choice is available for your staggered 19" and 20" wheels.
Previously the only matching tire available for the 265/40-19 front size and 285/35-20 rear size was the Original Equipment Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar G:2. Although not a bad performer by any stretch, many customers had expressed a need for an alternate tire up to the task of harnessing the massive power and torque these vehicles produce.

Although no street tire can resist wheel spin on a 650+hp RWD car, these Michelin tires represent an excellent available performance option when considering a replacement set of rubber on your Shelby.
