Tires transform the car. It feels like it is all wheel drive. Steering with the throttle is a snap. The limits of the car on the street with these tires have not even be tickled by me; I would need a track for that. The stock Bridgestones are unacceptable and wore quickly. I thought the Hankook V-12s were good until I tried these PSS. I have a set of Pilot Alpin PA-4s on separate AMG wheels for winter use. I do not believe in all-seasons. Frankly, there is no other choice than the PSS unless you want a DOT approved race tire which has its compromises in the wet. The PSS do not.

I bought a set of these tires back on July 2013. The tires have now 10k miles already, and even after the fact that my car literally "eats" tires for breakfast, the tires are still holding and I think I can extract another 1-2k miles from them (on the rears, the fronts still have thread for more than that). I tried everything on the market: Hankook Ventus V12s, Bridgestones Potenzas RE970s, Pirelli P-zeroes, Yoko Advans, and nothing came close to the excellent combination of performance, thread wear, road noise and stickiness of the PSS. I definitely recommend these tires to anyone.

I have to admit that at first I underestimated these tires. I wasn't expecting much from them, but they turned out to be great tires and despite my hungry driving they held very well, even when wires got exposed. Stealership told me it was not safe to drive those tires since wires were exposed and I still went on 2k trip and made it home without any issues. Hankook's are tires you can trust!

Purchased Pilots to replace Conti Procontacts. Considerably less rd noise and quieter/smoother over bridge expansion jts, pavement gaps etc. Very few miles to date so we'll see how long they last. More concerned with handling and road noise, very satisfied so far. Not winter driven so no sense for snow and ice conditions.

I've only had these tires for one month but I have to say they are the best tires I have purchased. I have always purchased Michelin, Goodyear or Firestone's and the Pirelli are by far better. They are so quiet and provides a very smooth ride. Will definitely purchase these from now on. Can't wait to test them during this coming winter.

These came oem on my mercedes. I have read bad reviews however so far these have been great tires. I can't rotate them due to difference size wheels front and rear. Tires are quiet and tread wear has been great thus far. No need to rebalance them or get an alignment yet. Very happy since the day I bought the car last July.

Initial Review, 300 Miles on Tires
May 14, 2014

Bought this tires based on good reviews here and I am so happy I did! First a few words about myself, I am big nut about tires, I used to have Tire Business in my country before I moved to the US. I drive two Mercedes 2003 and 2005 E320 CDI, so lets talk about the tires, first this is high quality tires with a good price and as all new tires they are quiet and smooth, but they are better then the rest , on 2003 e320 I have Good Year ComfortTread Touring, Before was Turanza Serenety, and before Serenety was Mich.,(drive my e320 for 9 years) so Why Pirelli is best over them, First, once they installed they smooth NO VIBRATION unlike Turanzas Surenety(8 times for balance 16 tires and sold them after 800 mile because bad vibration. Second, Pirelli is super Stable unlike GY Comfort Tread Touring( Puling to one side of the road and then to another, depends on the road slop). About ride comfort, they are quiet but transmit little bit more road imperfections like road joints compere to the GY, but Performance way better to GY CTT. So based on my pretty fresh experience I found This Pirelli Cintureto All Season P7 is superior to the tires I have and hand on my two Benzes include Mich., Bridge, GoodYears, Hankooks. Get them and you will feel how very confident, super stable, quiet your car is. About tread life, I can't say now but just let you know I change my tires close around 30 000 miles , Why??? because all tires get very noisy and rough over 30 000. remember this.

These tires are amazing compared to the OE Continental that were on my Merc and a lot other tires I've tried in the past. The ride is smoother, quieter and with a lot more grip. I've got the tires installed on a cold rainy day and immediately drove 200 miles on the highway. I was very impressed when the brand new Audi in front of me started hydroplaning on a very wet/slippery portion of the highway while I keep driving as if I was on drive pavement. Definitely an excellent tire for a very reasonable price

I just rolled 50,000 miles on my Benz. The OEM tires got about 22K miles. I live in Phoneix where it rarely rains and is plenty warm most of the year. I would say I drive somewhere above average - but below spirited. The tires aren't the quietest, but not bad by any stretch. I don't require super sporty tires, just tires that last (these have almost 30K miles on them)and provide adequate responsiveness. Also, I'm religious about rotating them every 7-10K miles. For the price, you really can't beat these tires. They are getting close to the wear bars and I'll probably order another set.

I have purchased the Comp 2's to put on my SL because I have a set on an 2004 E500 and they are the best handling tire i have had on the car to date. The handling is superb in wet and dry and the noise level is very low and the comfort level is very high. It almost feels like you are riding on a rubber pad. Takes bumps and road imperfections and absorbs them very nicely. They replaced Michelin Pilot A/S which were noisy and cumbersome, and just not an aesthetic looking tire for the car, still a great tire, but doesn't have the gripping power desired. I have taken off ramp turns at almost double the speed limit without any slipping or squealing from any corner. It's just a real good tire for the money, cant beat that combo. Very pleased.

I am thrilled with the ability of the tires on the road, but I am afraid the compound of the tires are too firm for what I would have preferred. The upside is that they will likely last a very long time.

Replaced 4 Michelins with these tires, did not think I would like them better, but I did. Took them up on a 700 mi round trip, in the storm on a weekend ski trip. Traction going up and back on dry road was confident inspiring. Handling in the snow and night icy road to help a friend with a stuck car was great, and I drove a lot of tires on snow over the years. I would heartily recommend this tire!

This review is a follow up to my review last year at 1000 miles. Now has 15000 miles on tires and can now say these are the best tires I have ever owned. Ride and handling are outstanding. No treadwear that I can see. Improved gas mileage of 2.5-3 mpg very impressive. Highly recommend purchase. Only negative is that I will be replacing this 07 R350 and the end of the summer and won't be able to buy Ecopia 422 as they don't come in a 19 inch 255/50 size rim of the 2012 R350
