Spring showers bring May flowers..and wet roads! Much of the country is having a very wet spring this year, so many drivers can identify with this problem. Whether you're driving a BMW 3 series, a Toyota Camry or a Chevy Suburban, wet traction is important. Will a new set of tires with great wet grip and treadwear improve your confidence when driving in the rain? Definitely!

I would suggest the Pirelli P4 Four Seasons as the tire of choice in this size with wet traction being a key characteristic.

The two best all-around tires I could suggest with best wet traction in the size 215/60R16 would be the Bridgestone Turanza Serenity Plus, and the Michelin Primacy MXV4.

I would consider the Bridgestone Potenza RE970 A/S, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus and Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S among the best for wet traction and some snow traction in 205/55R16.

My 2008 Toyota Corolla is so light that we have a terrible time with traction in any wet weather, especially going up our down hills. In Seattle this is a problem. Are there tires better suited for this car than the Dunlops my wife was sold?
