My 2008 Toyota Corolla is so light that we have a terrible time with traction in any wet weather, especially going up our down hills. In Seattle this is a problem. Are there tires better suited for this car than the Dunlops my wife was sold?

Just wondering what other tires I could put on my 2014 mustang v6 to handle wet roads really well other than the standard pirelli tires that came on it. Not very happy with the pirelli they seem to slide too much making the car a bit uncomfortable to drive in rainy weather.
