Many on the BMW forums have gravitated towards the Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110 as a great value in the Max Performance Summer category. For more information on the this tire, read my previous post titled, "Want a great value tire? Try Hankook Ventus V12 tires!" However, in the process of moving towards this relatively new tire, many have stopped considering the similarly priced Sumitomo HTR Z lll. The HTR Z lll has proven itself to be a smoother and quieter riding tire, along with higher levels of cornering grip on our autocross course in both wet and dry conditions.
