17" Winter Wheels for BMW 335i

For winter tires on the BMW 335i, Tire Rack recommends minus sizing to 17" for winter use on this car using a 225/45R17 tire size on all four corners.

There are handful of wheels we carry that will clear the brakes and work well. Two of the more popular choices have been the Sport Edition A7 and Rial Salerno. Both of these wheels accept BMW Original Equipment center caps (new caps are available through Tire Rack at an extra cost).

What other wheel options are there for my 2007 BMW 335i w/sports package?

Just got the 17" Sport Edition A7s to use for winter on my 2009 BMW 335i xDrive sedan with sport package (normally 18" wheels). The wheels fit perfectly over the brakes. I did need to wire brush my hubs and use a metal scrapper to debur the inside edge of the A7 wheel bore--after which they fit easily.

will the sport edition A7 with 225.45.17 fit on a 2007 335i with sport package?

Yes, we do sell a version of the Sport Edition A7 that clears the brakes and works well on this car with 225/45R17. See the above blog for more information.

Does switching to "minus sizing - 17" distort any of the odometer / speedometer readings? How about the tire pressure monitoring system - what effect does switching have on that?
