The race takes place on Mexico's Baja Peninsula on a loop circuit that runs around 500 miles. Even though the course varies from year-to-year, this is arguably the most grueling off-road desert event in the world. There have been instances of the spectators building jumps and bumps on the course for their own entertainment.
This was BFGoodrich's 28th win in the past 31 years and 72nd overall. They take this winning knowledge from the race and apply it to their off-road product line.
