Testing Standard Touring All-Season Tires

Thursday, August 26, 2010 by Henry Carlson
This week I tested the BFGoodrich Premier Touring, the Firestone Precision Touring, the General Altimax RT and the Yokohama AVID TOURING-S, Standard Touring All-Season tires.

I was impressed with how quiet all four tires were on the road course. The ride comfort of all four tires was very good to excellent. Considering the fact that these tires are in the category of Standard Touring All-Season tires, they all did very well in the area of handling. I did find the BFGoodrich and the Firestone to be a bit better than the other two in the handling category though.
