I put these on my GTI because it came with some Pirelli Pzero All Season tires that would not hold traction with an APR Stage 2 tune. These tires immediately transformed the car into a much more stable platform, both in straight line as well as cornering. These tires bite the ground aggressively.

I put 20k miles on them and show very little wear, I don't know how Michelin does this, but as a result I just purchased a set for my 2011 Corvette Grand Sport. This car's OEM Goodyear Supercar Gen2 runflats were at the wear bars in 9,000 miles!

We put these tires on the car at 700 miles. They were a nice improvement over the stock Integrities. The tires were quieter and much more stable at freeway speeds. In wet weather and snow the traction was good. The tires were rotated every 5-7000 miles with an alignment at 15K mile.

Our driving is about 80% country roadsm 10% city and 20% highway. In spite of driving the car mostly for gas economy (in other words gently) the tires need replacement at 32K! This is a serious disappointment. For this reason I can not recommend these tires. Our Honda Odyssey has Yokohama Avid H4s that have worn great so far in comparison.

Went from the OEM 225/45/18 Hankook Optimo H431 on OEM 18x8 to 245/35/19 Michelin PSS on 19x8.5 wheels. I'm very ocd when it comes to proper air pressure. I use nitrogen and run 38psi, 3psi over oem to optimize for proper load rating. Even though I drive a 4-door sedan, I drive it spirited! The PSSs in my honest opinion is an incredible tire in all aspects. I use to race BMWs and Mazdas in SCCA and know a little about racing. Hence, this tire has great turn-in and allows for sustained control cornering with little push. The variable contact patch seems to just bite the harder I engage cornering and handles the car's weight transfer during cornering, maximizing lateral grip. Wet weather handling is great, however our rainy season has yet to hit us down here in central Florida. In the rain that we have had the tire does very well in both handling, hydroplaning, and breaking. I've driven on Goodyear's F1, Bridgestone's S04, and Conti's Contact DW & DWS. Looking forward to updating this review after I put some mileage on the tires. Stay tuned!

These tires were on my WRX when I bought it so I'm not sure of the mileage. The previous owner said they have 1 or 2 seasons left. They are awesome in the snow. I can start from a dead stop in the middle of a 2 foot drift with no wheel spin, stop on ice, drive right over tall snow banks. I've tried to get stuck and failed numerous times. A lot of the credit goes to Subaru but these tires are great.

This is another follow up from previous reviews. Since I submitted my last review, these tires have been exposed to the icy roasd os Interstate 70 in eastern Colorado and the snow packed roads of Interstate 70 from Denver west. The Eagle GT A/S has exceeded my expectations so far. It probably doesn't hurt that my vehicle is AWD. The only area that I can't comment on yet is treadwear and mileage. I will be satisfied if I get 40,000 miles out of these tires and all indications, so far, are that I will get a few thousand more than that. For my driving style and my vehicle, this is a great tire and I would not hesitate to buy the Eagle GT A/S again.

Connering speed is incredible, I can took freeway off ramp and pass most of the passenger cars. They are surprice getting pass by minivan with crazy driver.

Snow performance is not good but ok. It is What I expect is all season tire.

Wet performance is good.

This was a replacement tire for the original OEM Goodyears that I replaced at just over 38,000 miles. To be honest I did not know what to expect as these replacement Bridgestones were around half the price of the OEM Goodyears. I was very suprised overall and continue to be with the wet braking performance in particular. They balanced up easily and the ride comfort is excellent. Although maybe not so off road capable as the original Goodyear Wranglers? they do have the same load rating. There is very little wear so far and it is uniform, I would not be suprised if these tires went welll over 40,000 too early to say of course! A very well balanced tire performance wise - in fact a delightful tire and made in USA! If you are mostly on-road do not hesitate to install these on your Land Rover or Range Rover!

Travel Trailer Tires and Camper Tires

Thursday, April 11, 2013 by Gary Stanley

With it starting to feel a little more like spring, many people are starting to bring out their toys. By toys, I mean: RVs, campers, ATVs, boats, personal water craft and motorcycles. While Tire Rack doesn't carry motorcycle or ATV tires, we do have a line of trailer tires and even some options for RVs. If you're concerned about your old, cracked and weathered trailer tires, now is a good time to consider replacing them.

Why use trailer tires instead of normal passenger car tires on your trailer? Simple, trailer tires are produced with heavier-duty materials and are constructed to be tougher than your typical passenger vehicle tire. A trailer will also be more stable on tires specifically designed for trailer use. For more information, read "Trailer Tires vs. Passenger Vehicle Tires."

The two tires we carry that are specifically designed for trailer use are the Power King Towmax STR and Goodyear Marathon Radial.

The following sizes are available for the Power King Towmax STR:

Be sure to check the condition of your trailer tires before head out on your first spring adventure. If you find you're in need of replacement tires, Tire Rack has you covered.

The tires are great for traction in snow and ice. The problem is the wear is unacceptable. The tires were warrantied for 70,000 (now lowered to 60,000) and they wear out between 30,000 and 36,000. I have gone through two sets at very fast rates, getting rebates from Goodyear on the first set to the second set. I may change brands to get more than 30,000 out of the tires as I do not drive agressively, but they all seem to wear out very rapidly.

I replaced the Goodyear Eagle RSA's that are OE for my V6 Fusion SE with these Michelins, and I am so happy with the performance of these tires. They ride so quietly than the Goodyears and has made a big difference on my highway commute to work everyday. There is little to NO road noise while traveling at higher speeds which is like night and day compared to the Goodyears! Traction is very good and they handle very well wet or dry. Cornering is just as good or better than the Eagles that they replaced. I haven't had a chance to try them on the snow yet, but I'm sure they will be just as good or better than the Goodyears. I am very impressed with these tires and for the price, you just can't go wrong. I will definitely buy these tires again!

March 11, 2013

My new Honda Pilot SUV came equipped with Goodyear Integrity tires. When it came to time to replace the tires, I decided to replace them with the same exact tire since I was happy with their pass performance. After getting the new Integrity's put on, I noticed a road noise that I never heard before. I gave the tires a week, but the road noise did not go away. I went back to the dealer and they heard the noticed the noise too. The dealer re-balanced the tires, checked my wheel bearings, etc. But that did not help. I called Goodyear to ask for a refund under their 30 day drive policy, they said they do not refund money, they will only put me in another GY tire. GY decided to put another set of Integrity tires on. Well that did not help either. I asked GY for a refund again, they said no. Then GY wanted to put on Dunlop Signature tires. Since the dunlop tire cost sligthly more they gave me a minimal upagrade price I would have to pay. After they put the dunlops on, the price all of a sudden went up substantially. I said I did not what the tires. Then GY said they would refund all my money and take their tires back. At this point I was just feed up, I paid the difference and kept the dunlop tires. I've had the dunlop's for a few weeks and they are fine, I like them and there is no road noise. I think that Goodyear had a bad batch of Integrity tires because both sets had the same problem of noticable road noise.

I say crap construction - dealer says "potholes" and it's not even pothole season! Will never purchase Goodyear tires again.

This is a preliminary review of the Continental PureContact with EcoPlus for the Mazda5. We have put 1500 miles of Pacific NW winter driving on these tires since our purchase. They are significantly quieter when driving on both concrete and asphalt highways, especially at freeway speeds. The Mazda5 is not a quiet, touring car, but these tires are a dramatic improvement over both the OEM tires and the Goodyear Eagles that we have previously had mounted. Our Mazda5 has a 5sp manual and so far, the Purecontacts have not lost their grip during normal 1st gear starts. About 80% of our driving so far has been in damp and wet weather and the Purecontacts track predictably at all speeds. Fortunately, the Mazda5 has not been in snow this winter, so no feedback yet on their snow performance. Only time and mileage will show how these age, but we are extremely satisfied with these tires so far.

A very good tire that gave me 44,000 troublfree miles. Probably could have gone another 10,000 to 15,000 miles but winter was coming on and i drive 3,000 miles a month, so I went ahead and switched to Goodyear's new F1 assymetric. I wanted something a little bit sporteier with better cornering. I am very very happy with theGoodyears, but the Bridgestone were quite good as well--a bit more sedate in the twisties. Very quiet at first, and a bit noisier after 25,000 or so and getting a bit noisier still by the time I switched. Not too bad really. Very nice manners, steering response was excellent. In two winters never really drove in anything but light snow and occassional ice. Very good response, but the Goodyears really excel. Al in all a high quality tire with a smooth and easy ride.
