Initial Review, 1,300 Miles on Tires

Knew these were everything I hoped for before I got off the tire center parking lot and to the first traffic light down the main street. Had run Fuzion tires 47,000 mi in 3 yrs so everything the TIRERACK ratings said about these Serenity Plus tires was immediately evident---QUIET, SOFT, SMOOTH RUNNING, LOW RESISTANCE, allowing me to let off the gas way sooner than before when approaching any reason to decelerate or stop. Both my wife and I wear double hearing aids, so the lack of background tire noise has been a real blessing to us. The 1300 miles of this first month included 400 miles interstate TX to KS and back again. Have nothing but praise for the tires and, again, the reliability and accuracy of the TIRERACK evaluations.
Had previously twice selected tires based on TIRERACK evaluations after OE ones on new 1999 Mercury Cougar wore out at 37K. TIRERACK choice with wider tread gave me 87K off two sets of 40K tires and fantastic road gripping on curves and cornering.
Have only driven these new tires in dry and light to moderate rain conditions, thus the N/A ratings on hydroplaning and snow. Did find that on county gravel roads in KS I had to drive 5-10 mph slower than before, as the extra-deep (and softer?) tread really grabbed the crushed limestone and threw it up under the car. Son-in-law in his Suburban following me asked what happened that I cut back our usual speed and maintained the lower speed on the gravel portion. Gravel a very small portion of our driving, so still say these tires are the best, at 75K warranty and UTQG rating of 600. Thanks TIRERACK.

Good tire for the price. Once the tires were broke-in they have been very predictable. They handle, corner and ride very well in the wet. Good ride quailtiy on dry roads too but seems like a better wet weather tire. Don't use them in winter, not sure they would be real good with their tread pattern. Wear has been great! A fairly quite tire.
Strongly consider these tires.

I purchased the Fuzion tires in October 2010. The mileage on my car was 62,025. I couldn't ask for a better inexpensive tire. Great traction, low noise level and decent wear-n-tear... Now it's August 2012 and approx 45,000 miles later, my tires still have a decent amount of treadwear left. The ONLY reason I have to get a new set, I was too lazy and didnt failed to get a front end alignment. Since I didnt not have a proper alignment, it caused my tires (that were on the front) to become warped after traveling on the highway 120 miles to/from work. As for the other comments regarding noise level, I didnt experience tire noise until my front tires became warped. Now my minor $80 issue has become $485 issue to replace my tires!!!... Lesson learned--always get an alignment when needed! :)

While on vacation, I unexpectedly bought these last summer to replace a set of Fuzion ZRi (they were on the car when I bought it). I was extremely limited in options because of the size and stock of all-season tires, and the Fuzions did not last nearly as long as I was hoping. With my first choice being Michelin, Toyo, or Bridgestone, I was hesitant to try (what I expected to be) an economy tire.

Initially, I was very impressed with how quiet they are, and how well they handle wet roads. When winter arrived, I was very pleased with how good traction was in the snow, while braking on uneven snow/ice-covered roads, and the cornering response in inclement conditions.

I wouldn't say that my driving is "spirited", but I don't like to waste fuel by slowing down more than absolutely necessary for corners and curves, which means that I do go much faster than most. In wet, cold, and snow, these tires are great, I am very pleased with them. The only place where I have noticed a lack of "awesome" is on highway curves, or corners in higher temperatures; it feels like the sidewalls buckle a little too much.

My driving has been about 2/3 highway, and 1/3 city, but a job change will cause the mileage to be transposed for the next few years, so it will be interesting to see if these last nearly as long as the tread-life warranty suggests. I rotate my tires every 4k-6k miles, and keep my suspension tuned properly.

I will probably buy them again, depending on what is available when I buy, and how long these last.

At this point I'm trying to get a mechanics opinion. The tire is making a humming noise. The faster you go the louder it gets . As you slow down the noise quits also.The new tires are on new mags and balanced. Like I said I'm trying to get the mechanic to look at it...

Bought these tires before a trip to Florida. Ran in to rain in Columbus,IN and it did'nt stop till Atlanta, about 9 hours. After about 2hours in the rain i figured out what these Fuzions could handle. It wasnt a fun ride but was impressed with the tires. Dry traction is good as well as the handeling. We'll see this winter how they do in the snow..

I know that my vehicle is no "pocket rocket", and I purchased these tires based on Michelin's reputation and the Tire Rack road test. I had them shipped to me mounted on a set of O.Z. wheels and all I can say is wow! They are far better than the Fuzion's that were on the car when I bought it. Much more quiet, outstanding traction, and better road feel without harshness. While these are only summer tires for me, I think that they will last at least 3 years based on my driving. I highly recommend them for even the most mundane driver who may be looking for top quality, ride, and wet/dry traction.

I wanted to purchase these tires in my size again because they were so great, they lasted me three years in Arizona heat! I was able to put many miles and drove through the whole western states on these tires, I had some good races too. I wore them down to the cloth, though! oops. Anyway, these tires rocked, I would really love to get them again, and the price is wonderful for such well performed tires.

This is a great tire, but I can find this tire much cheaper at my local tire dealer. Bridgestone/Firestone have made a great economy tire to compete against some of the lesser brands. Most of the Fuzions still carry the Uni-T technology that Bridgestone/Firestone offer. To the user at the bottom. . . It's a "HIGHWAY" tire for a reason. It isn't meant for off-road ventures. Maybe you should do a little more research before you buy next time!

I have had these for about a year and a half on my Subaru and love them! These are my 3rd set I have had over the years. Tread wear is slow and even, and this is with my aggressive driving style in a heavy 5 speed wagon. The performance in snow is amazing! I'm doing better then people with studded tires and my car has no limited slip diffs. High speed cornering is not the best, but that is to be expected. Even rain is great and have never slipped or lost control without intending to.

I am actually about to sell me car, but I have got another set of tires to swap on to keep these since they are still at 50% with 30,000. I think the tires will rot before I burn then up and they are useless. Looking for another set!

I got these when they first came out because a friend recommended them. By far the best bang for your buck! The rear tires got worn a bit faster, but thats because of racing a bit. I also used the car for commuting to work and they are awesome all around tires! Had them for 2 years, till I sold the car. Even had an accident hitting a curb at 30mph and the tires held up and the wheel broke! I have got these tires on 4 other cars of mine and each one does great!

I bought these tires after plus-sizing the rims on my car, going from the stock 16's to 18's. I bought these tires initially because they were cheap summer performance tires with a sightly higher treadwear number than the other tires I was looking at. So far, I am pretty impressed with them. I didn't expect them to be that great. I expected a good amount of noise based on other reviews. They aren't nearly as loud as I anticipated and have an exceptional amount of grip in wet and dry weather. They do feel a bit stiffer, but that's probably just because they're thinner than my previous tires and need to be firmer to support the car. Overall, I think it's a great tire, especially for the value. I'll try to follow up on this review after I've had them a bit longer, but so far, it looks as though I'll be buying Fuzion ZRi's again in the future.

Excellent in all kinds of snow, ice, rain and great cornoring. Super on gravel roads. The tires are not waring as good as I would like. I am hoping for 35,000 miles on these tires, but I am cautious and not quit sure if they will go that far. For $588.00 it was a good buy for th e price.

I put these tires on to replace a mismatched set on my Mercedes. I had Bridgestone Protenza's on my car when I got it and got about 70,000 miles out of them and they were a great tire replaced 2 of them with Falken Fuzions and they were absolute junk. Discount prorated the tire and I got a full set of these tires. I have driven them in all kinds of weather conditions including some pretty bad snow last week during a blizzard where people were sliding all over these tires powered through on my car and only really had traction problems once and that was partially due to the depth of the snow. I am getting ready to buy a set for my wifes car solely on how well they did on my car in the snow. I didn't notice really any MPG improvement but I didn't see that as much more than a scam anyway. My only complaint is that these tires are soft in turns and make the car feel bigger than it is with the soft sidewalls. I usually run my pressure 45-50 psi on them and it seems to help. These tires do well at higher speeds also which kind of suprised me with the soft sidewall. Overall I am happy with this tire and will buy another set.
