Initial Review, 1,000 Miles on Tires
March 12, 2013

After 12 years of all season tires on a 2001 Prelude, I purchased the Winterforce pre-mounted and balanced on steel wheels. These things grip like asphalt magnets!! Almost frustrating to drive in snow now! Everyone else is creeping along like they're driving in snow. I live on the edge of the city at the top of a hill. Too many times I had to take a run to get to the top, and sometimes didn't. The worst part of my drive was thinking about the last 1/4 mile on the home drive. They're quiet and the ride is excellent. I can't say enough about this tire. I went straight off the recommendation, and got the black hubcaps. Everyone thinks I got new black wheels, they even look great! Thanks Tire Rack. You guys are great! These things will drive up the side of a building. I can't remember the tire losing grip. Push the pedal, and they bite. Pull the trigger on these now. You won't be sorry.

i originally purchased these tires, because it was on sale. buy 3 get one free. these tires improved my cars handling compared to the oe tires but the treads dont last at all. after 35k its about time to replace them. the tire noise is also excessive. You practically have to use your outdoor voices to have a conversation in the car. would not recommend it at all.

I farm and ranch so Im on dirt roads and pastures all the time. The people that sold them to me said all the oil field workers are putting them on their trucks. I needed a good all around tire. I had them put on and the next day got stuck. The roads were not that bad either. I havent even got 17k miles on them and they are about bald. I rotate them quite often so they are worn pretty even. I have only had a few flats. The last one was a little piece of cable. These are 10 ply tires and something that small went threw them. I think Ill spend a little more money on a better tire if Im only going to get 17k out of them.

The 710s are the OE tire on our 2012 Sienna XLE.

The outstanding characteristic of this tire and vehicle combination is steering response. The steering is so light and easy it is unlike any other vehicle I've driven. It makes this 2 ton+ vehicle seem like a much smaller, lighter vehicle. To call this van 'light on it's feet' is an understatement. We've taken it on one 2,000 mile trip and thought it was great on the highway. There is little noticeable wear after 17,000 miles. We've also driven in quite a bit of snow this winter and, while they're no Blizzaks, they get around just fine. I went through the tire selection matrix on Bridgestone's website and they are recommending the Dueler 422 as the top-of-the-line tire for this vehicle but I love the way this Firestone works so well on this minivan that I'd be worried about any loss of the great driving dynamics from the factory.

This is the best tire I have ever purchased hands down! 90K Mile Warranty left the techs at Firestone speechless when I was shopping around to the point where the lead technician said he was going to get a set for his wife's car after looking up the specs. Spend the extra $30 and get them, it is worth every penny.

Very good all around tire. If one front tire hadn't worn at the inner edge due to an alignment an issue, I probably could have gotten 50,000 miles out of this original equipment set. I normally use dedicated snow tires during the winter, as we live in the mountains of Northeast Utah at 6,450' MSL in a ski town, and have snow 4-6 months of the year. These tires worked well in snow, slush; not quite as well on ice, but well enough I felt comfortable not fitting dedicated snow tires. Wet and dry traction during summer months was very good. I saw some complaints in other reviews about noise, but I have not noticed an undue amount of tread noise or slap over expansion joints. I would definitely consider buying another set. I also appreciate that Bridgestone/Firestone was a sponsor of Driver's Edge (wish they still were) an excellent driver education program for teens, that actually teaches vehicle dynamics skills.

With the seats removed and 38 psi rather than recommended 36 psi I get much flatter cornering with less vehicle lean. Vast improvement in handling over original Yokos. I would buy them again. Getting 17.7 in town and 21 on highway.

These were original tires that came with our 2010 Camaro. We replaced them at 28500 miles with same P Zero tires. Around 22000 they lost their grip in wet surface/snow. These are summer tires, however we drive this car on daily basis and new tires are great. Tires wore off equilly as they aged.

I use these on my 4 wheel drive winter/ off road truck and with these tires driving in the snow barely affects the traction i get. It is just like driving in normal conditions. Even in mud and gravel i feel plenty of traction. A great tire in every day driving conditions as well. If you're looking for great all terrain tires these are the best you can buy. I've owned plenty of different brands and these are by far the best

These Firestone Destination A/Ts are great! I now have 66,000 miles on the tires and it looks like they could last another 5,000 miles although the tread has started to "cup" in the last 3 or 4,000 miles. The tires were rotated every 6-7,000 miles and I've had absolutely no problems with tire balancing throughout the life of the tires. Even though the 4WD Expedition is tall and heavy, I have a tendency to toss the SUV around corners as if it was my BMW 530i or M Roadster. The tires don't squeel under hard cornering and are stable under quick lane changes at freeway speeds. I can't comment on the tires off-road performance since the closest thing to off-road use on these tires would be mud and gravel trails. If you drive primarily on highways and cities, this is the tire to buy for your SUV.

Have purchased a set of 4, every year for the past 10 years. These are the only tires I 'have to have'. Use on work vehicle as well as personal vehicle. I am a rural carrier 150 daily miles Conditions: snow, ice, drifting snow, slush, gravel, sand, rocks, manure, and mud Vehicle Type: car and 4x4 truck I use these tires until they wear out in usually 5 to 6 months. They do wear quickly during warm weather, but last longer if the winter is colder (below freezing). If used on the interstate, they will start to sound loud at higher speeds of 65mph. These are quiet for snow tires and do not affect your gas mileage much. No complaints with the handling. No lean when cornering. Please rememeber these are not sport tires so I am compairing to average all season radials. I use two sets per year, but this is hard stop and go driving over multiple kinds of road terrain and with vehicle weighted down with mail. Tires only last 6 months for me, even the all season radials. Everyone in our office now uses these tires, even those who are not carriers. We all swear by them. I have never had to stud them. They always get me thru everything. One co-worker has been using them for three winters now. Says he may be able to make it thru a fourth. Puts them on in Nov and removes them in early spring. I recommend these tires to everyone.

We put on our Outlander these tires, studded, last winter. They were ok. This winter, second season for them they disappointed. They hydroplaned like walking on oily surface. With only three inches of slush on the road, they slipped all over the place. These tires are good for one season, so don't waste your money.

Quiet, great wet and dry traction, great snow traction. They will pack up some in mud. This tire is an excellent value.

It's hard to imagine a better tire. After 30,000 the tread is FLAT across and hardly worn. I have had people look at them during oil changes and mark "like new" on the worksheet. NO Vibration at all. I regulary drive in Utah where some roads have an 80 mph speed and are amazed. They ae probably the only tire I would do that on in 120 degree heat and a full load of people. As far as snow goes, no need for winter tires, they are amazing in deep snow. Quiet, safe, smooth, long wearing. If I ever need tires for a light truck, I know not to even shop around for anything else, why bother? Steve
