If you find yourself in need of a new set of tires and you really do not want to spend a ton of money on them, then this new tire from Sumitomo may be the tire for you. The Sumitomo HTR A/S P01 is a High Performance All-Season tire priced very well and available in a number of sizes from 14-inch to 18-inch. We just wrapped up our testing of this tire and let me say it's worth every penny -- maybe more.
On the highway I found it to be very quiet and comfortable. When I had a chance to drive it on our test track, it was responsive in handling the corners and had a good braking feel when I smashed on the brakes.
It's an all-season tire; so it can be driven in areas that will see some light snow in the winter, but it is not a tire for someone who drives in severe wintry conditions.
