It's late in the snow season, but if you need some snow traction for your M3 we have a Winter / Snow Tire & Wheel Package for you. The M3 comes with a staggered wheel and tire set up, but for the winter it's best to downsize.
Tire Rack recommends a 235/40-18 tire size on the front and rear for the best traction. We have one wheel that fits — the
Sport Edition A7 — and you can marry that up with the
Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D. This set up will give you the best traction in the snow and ice and will also allow you to rotate the tires as needed.
If you have a newer Honda CRV then it probably has 17" tires on it.
And in my opinion, the
Michelin Latitude Tour is the overall best tire for that vehicle. It's in the
Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season category and currently ranks #1. This tire offers a very smooth and quiet ride along with long treadlife and excellent traction in rain and light snow. If you are looking for one of the best look no further, because this is it.

The
Sumitomo HTR A/S P01 is a High Performance All-Season tire priced very well and available in a number of sizes from 14-inch to 18-inch. We just wrapped up our testing of this tire and let me say it's worth every penny -- maybe more.
On the highway I found it to be very quiet and comfortable. When I had a chance to drive it on our test track, it was responsive in handling the corners and had a good braking feel when I smashed on the brakes.
It's an all-season tire; so it can be driven in areas that will see some light snow in the winter, but it is not a tire for someone who drives in severe wintry conditions.

I know it's early but now is the time to start thinking about winter tires for your passenger car. Winter tires are only made in the summer and then released late summer early fall and the inventory goes quickly. So if you are a person who needs winter tires I would like to tell you a little about the
Bridgestone Blizzak WS60. If you have driven on winter tires before then you know what they are about. If you haven't well then you should because they will change the way you feel about winter driving for the better. I have driven on blizzaks in the winter for about ten years now and I will continue.
