Updated Tire Rack warranty information gives a more complete overview

To help consumers make a more informed tire buying decision treadlife warranty time spans have been added along side the mileage coverage when applicable.

This is done with the Year / Mileage format popular with auto manufacturers for new vehicle warranties.

For example the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 2 now lists a treadlife warranty of 5 Years / 50,000 Miles instead of just 50,000 Miles.

This is especially helpful when a treadlife warranty does not cover the same time span as the rest of the warranty. An example of this is the Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum which is covered by a 6 Year replacement warranty but, only 4 Years / 60,000 Miles treadlife.

*Tire Rack's Tire Warranty Rating is an overall rating given to tire warranties after subjectively evaluating their value for the consumer. Warranties are rated on a scale of 0-5 with 5 being the highest. This rating combines all of the aspects of each tire's warranty where applicable, including: mileage/treadlife, materials and workmanship, balance and uniformity, replacement tire cost, warranty duration and any special manufacturer's warranties that apply. See official manufacturer's warranty brochure for specific details.

Hi

If I buy LT tires for installation on a travel trailer, will the same warranty apply as if I'd put them on a truck?

Thanks!
