Borbet Brings Back the Classic Type A Wheel

For many years, the Borbet Type A wheel was a favorite for BMW owners that wanted a simple and clean five-spoke design. Production stopped on this wheel more than a decade ago, but has resumed due to popular demand.

Manufactured in a 16 x 7.5 size, the Type A is available in a silver with machined lip finish for BMW 3 Series (E30 chassis), 5 Series (E28) and many early 1970s models. Fitments for Volkswagen and other imports are not yet available as the high offset (20mm) will cause fitment issues for those models. We can also offer replacement center caps for all Type A wheels.

We have been told not to expect anything other than the 16x7.5" size for at least the next 12 months.... Sorry !
