Initial Review, 100 Miles on Tires
June 21, 2012

Replaced the OEM Bridgestones with these tires. I have been amazed for three days at the difference these tires have made in reducing noise, softening the ride and overall handling for my CRV. While it's too early to say anything at all about tread life, everything other than that makes this tire a great option in the mid-range. Got a good discount at my mechanic on them, so the purchase was even better. I would definitely recommend these tires for someone with a small crossover, light truck or SUV.

Initial Review, 11000 Miles on Tires

I bought this set of tires bc of high review on tirerack. I was wrong. These tires are definitely not Ultra High Performance All Seasons. Think of these tires are good all seasons tires for Grandma and Grandpa old buick. As soon as I have these installed in my car, I noticed the ride was bumpy, handling sloppy and unstable on highway. My IS300 sporty characteristics was gone. Please do not make the same mistake like I did. Spend a little more and get a set of Micheline tires. After 11000 miles, there was very little wear and tear on these tires which indicated that the treadwear is very good. I took my car to Discount Tires and traded in my used tires for a new set of Micheline Super Sport. OMG...what I have been missing. My car driving like new, quite, smooth and very grippy. Don't believe me, try to buy the Continental DWS and you will regret.

Initial Review, 10000 Miles on Tires

I put these tires on to replace a mismatched set on my Mercedes. I had Bridgestone Protenza's on my car when I got it and got about 70,000 miles out of them and they were a great tire replaced 2 of them with Falken Fuzions and they were absolute junk. Discount prorated the tire and I got a full set of these tires. I have driven them in all kinds of weather conditions including some pretty bad snow last week during a blizzard where people were sliding all over these tires powered through on my car and only really had traction problems once and that was partially due to the depth of the snow. I am getting ready to buy a set for my wifes car solely on how well they did on my car in the snow. I didn't notice really any MPG improvement but I didn't see that as much more than a scam anyway. My only complaint is that these tires are soft in turns and make the car feel bigger than it is with the soft sidewalls. I usually run my pressure 45-50 psi on them and it seems to help. These tires do well at higher speeds also which kind of suprised me with the soft sidewall. Overall I am happy with this tire and will buy another set.

Initial Review, 2000 Miles on Tires
December 11, 2011

I have Nissan Altima 2.5 S with the 4 cylinder engine. Reason for buying the Hankook's Optimo H727 was the Consumer Reports very positive review, plus the fact that good tires for front wheel drive vehicles are hard to find. The stock Continental's wore out at 20K miles. Replaced with an off brand recommended by Discount Tire. Can't remember the name of the tire, but Bad mistake, had "radial Pull". Despite checking alignment for car, and etc, tire pulled car to right. Had to buy Continental's again to solve the issue. Well, 20K and they were shot again.

This time, read many reviews on Tire Rack.com, and Consumer Reports article. Hankook Optimo H727 highly recommended. Ordered and install the H727's. Found tire to be absolutely steady at any speed. Tire is quiet, very little road noise. Drove at hightway speeds 70+ mph and found excellent and stable. Wet weather handling also very good. Snow is OK, but this is not a snow tire.

Absolutely no "radial pull" (car pulling to right with other brands), and tire is rated at 100K miles. If I get 60K I'd be happy. Tire handling is amazing for 100K miles rated tire. Still getting the tires broken in, mileage is same as before. I have to say I am pleased with the tire. Handling is quick and stable, I don't drive in snow much but, it seems OK for light snow.

I will also, only buy tires if they are in the Consumer Reports TOP 10, and only if other drivers post POSITIVE reviews on sites like Tire Rack about the tire. All tires are NOT created equally, and all tires may NOT be right for your vehicle, especially front drive vehicles.

I'd recommend the purchase of the Hankook OPTIMO H727's to anyone.

Initial Review, 50000 Miles on Tires
November 28, 2011

My wife drives on these tires 100 miles a day on the interstate in florida. I check these tires every oil change for wear and cracking due the extream on the florida roads, and have been very surprised that they are holding up well. I put three sets of Continental tires on the the truck when a friend of mine wanted me to try these tires at a discounted price so he could sell them at his shop and be comfortable with recomending them. I loved the tire, he now sells them regularly and I put a set of the Kuhmo Road Venture A/T's on my F150. For the price they are awesome tires and I will buy them again.

Best All-Season Standard Touring Tires Minus the Premium Price.

Wednesday, March 3, 2010 by Chad Hocker
Tire manufacturers continue to push the limits of tire evolution. There are some tires available that are very good but they do not get as much "press" as some of the others but they get the job done and they do it well at a nice price point. They are not "cheap tires" or "discount tires" but "good tires" at an "economical price point." Take a look at some of the tires I consider to be "good tires" at a "economical price point."

When is the Best Time to buy Winter Tires at the Best Price?

Tuesday, August 4, 2009 by Chad Hocker
NOW!!!
Yes, it's sunny and 75 degrees most days but snow is coming!!!  We have some great winter tires from Bridgestone at discount closeout pricing.  One Blizzak winter tire to mention is the Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25 with over 30 sizes in stock ready to ship this winter tire is a great choice.  The buyer of the Blizzak LM-25 would be looking for a performance winter tire.  For his high performance sports cars, sport coupe or sport sedan that requires winter driving traction on dry, wet and snow-covered roads. They are designed to combine good snow and ice traction with "European" high-speed winter driving performance.

Blizzak LM-25                                      Blizzak LM-25                                         Blizzak LM-25
Bridgestone has used their UNI-T Technology to bring several technologies together allowing the Blizzak LM-25 to maximize winter performance on the snowiest of days and also the days when the sun peaks out to remind us of the long past summer days.  Click the link on the Blizzak LM-25 to see further information regarding the Lamellen "edge effect" with multiple three dimensional ("3D") zigzag sipes used to provide the winter traction with out the use of studs.

Snow-Flake-on-the-Mountain
Blizzak LM-25 snow tires meet the industry's severe snow service requirements and are branded with the snowflake-on-the-mountain symbol.

Although these tires are at closeout pricing I would suggest storing your great buy until snow flys or the temperature is consistently below 40 degrees.  However as with all great deals these are only around until they are gone with sizes from 195/55R15 all the way up to 245/50R20 see if they are a good fit for your performance vehicle.
