Recent tests (
results online soon) of tires in the Ultra High Performance All-Season category revealed that the
Pirelli P Zero All Season tire was tops in its class. It was compared to the
Dunlop SP Sport Signature,
Sumitomo HTR A/S PO1 and the
Yokohama AVID ENVigor.
The Pirelli was the quietest, most comfortable tire to handle the wet and dry track conditions (similar to the various weather conditions experienced throughout the country). I believe that PIrelli accomplished its design goals with the P Zero All Season and has created a solid all-around tire.
I was fortunate to attend the Porsche Driving School in Birmingham, Alabama last week.

We were driving the Porsche 911 Carrera S and the 911 Turbo at very high speeds with plenty of braking and cornering. What impressed me was the way the cars handled on the
Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires. I was very confident behind the wheel when reaching speeds of over 100mph. I was even more impressed with the braking and turning into the corners. When driving a high performance vehicle you want to be confident behind the wheel. The PS2's give you that confidence.
