Impressive Tires From the 2010 Testing Season

Some of the tires that have impressed me so far during this testing season:

Goodyear Assurance ComforTred Touring
  • Grand Touring All-Season
  • Surprisingly smooth riding on the Real World Road Ride compared to the other three tires tested.
Michelin Primacy MXM4
  • Grand Touring All-Season
  • Tested last during our Performance Test Track Ride and was more confident in my test laps, wet traction was superior to the other three tires tested
Continental ExtremeWinter Contact
  • Studless Ice and Snow
  • Good during ice rink testing and made the biggest jump to catch up with the Blizzaks
Bridgestone Blizzak WS70
  • Studless Ice and Snow
  • Another consistently good tire in the Bridgestone Blizzak tire line-up
Yokohama AVID ENVigor
  • High Performance All-Season
  • A better high performance tire (H&V) than ultra high performance tire (W) as it was much better riding and quieter than the W-speed rated
We still have a few tests to complete before the seasons change and the snow flies. Want to read the full reports?  See all 2010 tire test results.
