Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Michelin Premier A/S

Great tire, with very good grip in all conditions. Not as good as a designated set of winter tires but very close in light and ice traction. The ride is very compliant and quiet, with no noticeable tread noise. Full acceleration from a stop will still spin tires in the wet, but will regain grip quickly. I will buy them again once they wear out.   Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 (H- or V-Speed Rated)

Moved from Firestone Firehawk {OEM] to this tire. The ride and control are awesome! Like riding a rail. Yes they were expensive, but the control is incredible. Control on wet surfaces are the same as on dry. Bought this tire due to the need for extensive winter driving in the Northeast and I have not been disappointed. Just a wonderful experience.Control...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus

Im very particular about my tires. Lots of research goes into finding the tire for my car. Ive never wrote a review of them until today. I live in Iowa and today we got nailed with a snow storm. Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Pirelli P4 Four Seasons Plus

Bought these tires forma box store two years ago to replace a set of Yokohama Avid Touring tires S (also an nice touring tire). I think the Pirellis perform better, (a little squeal on sharp fast turns) I gentle reminder that I need to ease up.These perform a lot better on turns and emergency turns. The stopping distances have slightly reduced. At almost...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Bridgestone Blizzak WS80

Just installed the Bridgestone WS80 prior to the big Super Bowl snowstorm of 2015. I had been told by tire guys that if I had a good set of all season radials I'm just as well off as having snow tire. Too bad I believed that for too long. After my wife had a very close call on icy roads with my 4 children in the van with her, I thought a set of winter tires...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Bridgestone Blizzak WS80

I have survived seven PA winters using performance all-season tires but knew it was just a matter of time before my Mustang got stuck and left me out in the cold. I did my research and opted for a set of WS80 Blizzaks for my factory rims and purchased a set of new wheels / tires for the rest of the year.My previous set of tires were Michelin Pilot Sport A/S...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Bridgestone Blizzak WS70

This was my first winter tire purchase and I have zero regrets about buying it. I think one of the most important benefits of this tire was the confidence of its performance driving in snow or rainy conditions. It's handling in adverse weather is incredible compared to my previous all-season tires. The tire is a bit noisy as can be expected by the tread...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Dunlop Winter Maxx

2013 was not a good year for me, in terms of getting through the winter. I had to park my 2011 370Z all winter and drive around my 2003 Ford Escape beater. I upgraded to the 2015 WRX STi in 2014 and with the news that 2014 will have bad snow season, I decided to get dedicated snow tires and wheels. I didn't want to break the bank, I decided to go with the...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the General Altimax Arctic

Mileage is an estimate, since they are on about 4 months per year. I am now at 7/32 tread. This is their 6th season, and my third Legacy they've been on. I just verified my purchase date as November 2009, because I was replacing one tire that had a slice in the sidewall. Naturally it happened last night just after we got 7 of snow, and temporarily spoiled my...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the General Grabber AT 2

Bought tires just before winter of 2013 and never looked back. Very happy with the tire all around. They wear like iron, have 25,000 miles on the set and can't tell. Winter snow in the Snow Belts in Michigan can be problem for some, but with these tires I never have to worry. Tire noise on dry payment is as good as highway tires on my wife's van. Tire's...  Read More

I live in Chicago. I drive a 6 cylinder front-wheel drive pontiac. I drive the car very hard. I bought these tires after hours of research. I could not decide between a set of winter tires or good soft all season tires. I went with these because they are the highest rated all season tires on this website. I am very happy with them. I cannot say enough about...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Continental CrossContact LX20 with EcoPlus Technology

We put these on our 2007 Dodge Nitro, and so far have 2000 miles of winter driving on them. They're quiet and comfortable on the highway, with great traction on dry, wet, or snowy roads. We've driven through unplowed roads in 2WD that used to make the old tires spin in 4WD. The traction control and the ABS rarely engage now. Excellent tires...would...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Michelin Pilot Super Sport

There is not a single street car that cannot be made better by putting these tires on. The hype is real. I use these exclusively for summer tires and have a second set of winter wheels & tires. Even though the winter tires are excellent at their intended job I always can't wait for spring to put these tires back on. The ride does firm up a bit because of the...  Read More

Very impressed, I bought these tires so i did not have to change out from a summer tire to a winter one and the reputation of the previous generation of BFG AT's. I had these tires for three years, but this winter in New York (2014/15) was the real test we had so much snow and more ice than I could remember in my fifty plus years. Let me tell you, I never could expect A tire to perform so well. Not one problem. These tires stopped on black ice like the ground was dry, they never got stuck. Pulled in and out of parking...  Read More

I purchased OEM 18's and these tires to use as a winter set up in lieu of the 19 summer tires that come standard on the sport package. This tire came stock on my Lincoln and I currently have 50,000 miles on them, not to mention they are original since 2008. Overall traction is great, with superb ride comfort and low road noise. Winter traction is above average as well. Definitely not a snow tire, but for light to moderate conditions, they work well. After 50,000 miles the tires are done and...  Read More
