Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 (H- or V-Speed Rated)

Purchased the Pilot A/S 3 91V-rated to replace ContiPro Contact SSR 91H run flats. I carry a spare in the trunk.Conti lasted about 25-30k and were gone. Run flats give you piece of mind but they were noisier than Pilot - I noticed it from the beginning I installed these on. Pilots are also provide a softer ride over small bumps and anomalies on a road; Conti...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus

Outstanding! I had Bridgestone's and Kumho's installed on this 15 year old car before. But after reading the reviews on this tires, I decided to trust the public. Man was it on the money! Before buying these Pirellis I just had the rear struts replaced. I didn't wanna write a review until I tried it in the snow around Chicago. I'm absolutely satisfied, happy...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Kumho Ecsta LE Sport

On this car I have had Conti DW, BFG, and Toyo proxes. I would never buy the Toyo all season Proxes 4 again. Simply a horrible tire. The BFG had two compounds blended together which made them wear funny and after 10k miles they were terrible. These Khumo's are the best tire I have had on this vehicle. They are y rated and aa traction.   Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 (H- or V-Speed Rated)

Great tire, amazing dry & wet traction. Driving an SL(Sports Light ?) requires a tire with sure footing at speed and occasional wet weather conditions. This Michelin A/S 3 sticks like glue dry road or wet. Has minor noise around 45 mph, not intrusive but disappointiing to me. Good ride, handles well like a performance tire. My car has gvw listed 4,4xx lbs....  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum

Sadly, this car was lost in a recent flood, so we did not have time to really put these tires through all of their paces. Nonetheless, this Kumho set exceeded my expectations. They were far better than the highly-overrated Michelins they replaced, which rode hard and had poor grip (typical of Michelin--they came with the car when we bought it). The Kumho...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Kumho Road Venture SAT KL61

I don't understand all the negative reviews for this tire. I have driven over 20,000 miles on these tires and they have performed flawlessly. By the looks of the tread I should get a least 50K on the set. I would definitely buy another set but I understand Kumho has discontinued this tire. Great looking tire at a reasonable price.   Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Kumho Ecsta PA31

I've had these 4 months driving an 2006 Acura TL manual transmission in Denver, Colorado. Pros: - Quiet, much quieter than I expected. I don't think I've heard a single squeal in 4 months. WAY more quite than the awful Bridgestones I used to have. - Good wet traction, including snowy slush - Attractive price - Good dry traction- Decent snow traction, I guess...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Kumho Sense

This my 4th set of Kumho Sense, they replaced Sumitomo's which were the worst tire I have ever owned. The difference in wet weather traction is astounding. The rear drive Previa is very tail light and likes to spin, it was almost unsafe with the Sumitomos, It has been raining almost every day since I had these installed and they are fantastic. Very pleased...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Continental PureContact with EcoPlus Technology

I have a heavy E320 4-Matic....I tried the Kumho Ecsta...Good traction but wore at 7500 miles and felt flimsy. I went cheap and Bough Fuzion All Season, It was the most DANGERIOUS SCARIEST TIRE I HAVE EVER SEEN....PURE HORROR!!!Then I decided to go for this Continental Pure Contact...This is the ONLY tire you need EVER!!! It is the Most Traction....  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Goodyear Assurance All-Season

I hesitated on buying this tire as there were no surveys available for this new model. We are not disappointed. So far these are very superior to the OEM Kumho tires that came with the car. The only negative is a slight directional instability when cold which might need a tweak to the tire pressure.   Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Kumho Ecsta 4X

Within 2000 miles tires began to cup. I had EVERYTHING examined to find the cause and everything was up to spec and it was determined that the tire design was the culprit. I have never had this happen on any other tire and frankly in any car I've ever owned. I thought I had an out of phase drive shaft it was so bad. Loud and you can feel it in the steering...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum

My Acura came with the standard Michelin's and a very short life span.(28k) I was hesitant about my first Kumho tire purchase as ride comfort and noise level were more important than high performance handling as I'm no race car driver and spend the majority of my driving time well within the limits of the law. I enjoy going through the paces every once and a...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus

My Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus [94 V] continues to thrill me and make me feel very happy having these tires installed on my car back in April 2014 as though it was yesterday even after the fact that I have driven 12,000 miles! These are by far the best that I have had driven my car on till date. I have had driven the car on 4 different sets of tires...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Kumho Ecsta PA31

I bought my 2010 VW GTI and didn't even realize it had ultra performance summer tires all around. I was very surprised the first time it snowed up here in NH and I couldn't get out of my own way. I bought some chains but realized they are impractical for my area, plus I work about 25 miles from my home. I started researching tires and I was looking for...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Kumho Sense

Great all season performance tire all around, especially for the price. It is taking me into my second winter of commuting 100 miles + a day roundtrip to work and back. It handles and performs very well at high highway speeds, in all conditions. It did require a break in period of under 500 miles during which it handled and felt heavy. It doesn't like it...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Kumho Ecsta PA31

I had these tires installed on my 1981 Z28 Camaro about 7,500 miles agao. I tend to drive aggressively in curves and on dry pavement these tires have yet to even act like they are loosing traction. In the rain they do slip if you push them too hard though. With my driving style and modified suspension treadwear is still above average. The noise level of...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Kumho Solus KH16

Replaced the OEM Dunlop's on my CX7 with these Solus's. Much lower noise level, and seem to track well. Very good in the rain on the interstates. Feel safe. Based on mileage so far and tread depth remaining I figure these will match the mileage got on the Dunlops. About 51,000. Bought them on a rebate deal from Tire Rack, so they were a bargain if they last...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Kumho Ecsta PA31

I had a set of Pirelli tires on my 04 Mazda3 s5door. Once they warmed up, I had traction through almost any corner I found on the roads. But the cons of the tire made me look elsewhere. 1st, they had an enormous amount of road noise. Not quite as bad as being back in my old Jeep, but you still had to raise your voice to carry on a conversation, or turn the...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Kumho Solus KH25

NO SNOW YET,NO TREAD WEAR YET. CANNOT UNDERSTAND THE BAD REVIEWS--NO IT IS NOT THE BEST A/S TIRE BUT I DRIVE TENNESSEE MOUNTAIN ROADS, INTERSTATES, GRAVEL RAODS, ETC. AND NOT GENTLY. I HAVE HAD NO GREAT PROBLEMS WITH THESE. DART HAS THE TOURING TYPE SUSP., SWAY BARS, STIFF SHOCKS ETC. NOT A MB RIDE BUT NOT BAD FOR THIS TYPE OF CAR. I HAVE HAD A MUCH WORSE...  Read More
